My uncle lives in that area and they have been at this for years. They go around to upper class neighborhoods and check to see which cars are locked and unlocked. They are very brave. They’ll go right up into your driveway and ignore cameras. My uncles car has been broken into multiple times.

I feel ur pain. My 05 Suburban was as stolen when I was staying at a hotel across the street from the Kansas City Chiefs stadium a few months ago when I went up there for draft fest at Arrowhead Stadium. Check out of hotel go to parking lot suburban is gone and I had a 3 hour drive home with no vehicle which I only had liability insurance. Few days later I get a call from KC police it was found after 2 Meth heads stole it and went on a 30 min high speed police chase which started by ramming a cop car & ended after hitting another vehicle and crashing into a utility pole completely totaled out.

Back in '03 when I was going to Ohio State my roommate had his car stolen on campus. Cops ended up finding it like 5 days later and the car was in fine shape. The interior was littered with loose tobacco and blunt roaches, and there was a Notorious BIG cassette tape in the tape deck. Kudos for not destroying the car fellas 👍👍👍

The punishment here is easy… They shouldnt go to jail. They shouldnt pay fines etc. The punishment should be once or twice per week, for at least a year, take a full speed (no pads for them) spear tackle from AJ himself. Their bodies wont be capable of thievery

I've heard and seen similar stories on the east coast too. Car rings trying steal all types of cars they can. Many going overseas. A month ago some people tried to steal a ferrari but weren't able to start it. Caught on a ringcam. They just went to a honda and stole that. With little worry about serving jail time if they do get caught there's a big market

I had my car stolen on Memorial Day here in St. Louis. The cops found the car like 2 weeks later abandoned but I had already taken the insurance compamy payoff at that point.

A crew came through my neighborhood last year. My neighbors two vehicles were stolen. Mainly because they were unlocked and the fobs were left in them. It doesn’t matter how nice your neighborhood is these days: Take your keys, wallet, and garage door openers inside with you every night!! Don’t make it easy for people to steal from you!!

Is that a thing? People leaving key fobs in the car? Great advice, but does it actually need to be given? I thought it was crazy that people leave the front door to their house unlocked. It is crazy to leave your car door unlocked. To leave your car door unlocked and the key inside is just gifting your car to the friendly neighborhood criminal.

imagine stealing the car, opening the wallet and seeeing it was A.J. Hawk's car lol. Key in the car is only a misdemeanor tho, joyriding. So one less felony if caught.
