Same. Found an old pwi top 500 magazine on the street randomly in 2004 i was coming home from high-school and aj styles was on the cover. He mightve been rated the #3 guy in the world ahead of some seriously talented wwe guys and I was shocked. Like who could this guy be? Lol went and bought a best of aj styles DVD at a music store and I was hooked. From there I saw others like lowki, sabin, Daniel's etc.
he probably likes it but its not good enough to be his forever theme,so i truly understand why he says he got sick of it and needed a change! its just if he atleast had his new themes with the same vibe because his newest theme just is generic def rebel xD
He never said he hate the song he said he was using this theme song in TNA for 11 yrs so he was tired of hearing it and wants something new which is completely understandable
@@dannyengland8014 hmm hmm if it wasn't for AJ almost by himself TNA would Never be....and not only that ROH and In small Part PWG would probably feel empty without him Samoa Joe CM Punk and Amazing red
AJ, Christian Cage, Sting, Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, Jeff Jarrett, America's Most Wanted, Team 3D, Team Canada, Samoa Joe, Rhino, Jeff Hardy. Crazy to think of how many great talent TNA had and where the company is now, they're almost at the bottom of the barrel.
I remember back in like 04 and 05 people saying "have you seen TNA? they've got this guy AJ Styles, he does stuff I've never seen before, you need to check it out" as much as sting, christian, angle, Daniels, Joe etc were important for tna AJ was the centrepiece.
When he finally won the TNA world heavyweight championship in 2009, it was one of the best championship wins in modern wrestling! The best in TNA history!
Christian, in my opinion, has bad the greatest lineup of theme songs in wrestling history. The Brood's music was fantastic, his solo Blood Brother theme was great, his and Edge's tag team theme is iconic, At Last (specifically version 2) is my favorite wrestling theme ever, his 2004 theme was great, Just Close Your Eyes V1 was great, Take Over in TNA was absolutely incredible and his final theme, Just Close Your Eyes by Story of the Year was a great rendition of a classic theme.
His best theme, WWE should pay TNA and bring this back, imagine the pop from the crowd. Heel AJ was good in TNA coming out to this badass song, TNA had some great intro's.
The man made me watch something outside of WWE during my biggest time being a wrestling fan. The dude would then go on to be the reason I got back into WWE full-time in 2016. Definitely a main character in Pro Wrestling's history.
The best theme songs describe the wrestler to the T. Edge “You think you know me?” John Cena “My time is now” Brock Lesnar “Here comes the pain”. This track is the perfect description of AJ. Are you ready to fly? Cuz he is!!!!!
AJ Styles is everything you’ve ever wanted in a Pro wrestler he’s acrobatic he’s technically sound he’s got speed and power he is without a doubt PHENOMENAL
His ability to time and sell the opponent's movesets are also one of, if not, the best, comparing those of Spike Dudley and Dokph Ziggler, and considering AJ's resume of basically had travelled to indies and wrestling companies, putting over his opponents around the globe. That wrestling genetics that Kurt Angle always mentioned is right there.
In my opinion, AJ Styles is the greatest non-WWE, WCW, or ECW-produced talent in the history of professional wrestling. I always wondered why WWE never went after him around 2005-2010 - or perhaps they did but he turned him down
I have to agree only reason he isn't called the greatest is because he came to WWE late, but that wasnt his fault. Hes been top anywhere he went, TNA, New Japan, Indies and WWE. p4p one of the best wrestler ever.
Man I remember as a kid feeling spoiled Monday - raw Tuesday - ecw (I liked it leave me alone) Thursday - TNA Friday - smackdown My favorite time of wrestling
it would have been great to see this AJ i've only ever watched WWE's version of AJ Styles (which is still good) because when i was younger i only ever watched WWE because i didn't know about the other companies (excluding ECW & WCW which were before acknowledge in WWE history) i only knew WWE because of my older brother & because my cousin had the WWE games which got me addicted to WWE i'm a 2002 baby i didn't start watching other wrestling companies until 2016 (when i was 14) * i grow up without Internet and paid TV which i believe TNA was on here in Australia
