What a wonderful human being Ajahn Brahm is! An embodiment of almost everything that is right and pure about humanity. His videos and talks get me through some really bad days.
It is so good to see all the venerable Bhikkunis smiling. It is so good to see that women are being afforded the same opportunity to live as monastics as what the Lord Buddha had intended. May all women who go Dhammasara for refuge find happiness and peace!
I am having and undergoing very tough period in my life now. Maybe even the deepest valley at the moment. This clip cheers me up. Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful and delightful clip.
Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu. This heart fills with joy at the embracing of a bhikkhuni monastery in Western Australia and in celebration of the brave and beautiful Ajahn Brahm.
It’s so comforting to know that there are kind and compassionate people like this I’m the world, and that Buddhism is growing. For the benefit of all beings. Blessings to the Buddha, dharma and the sangha 🙏🏽❤️
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I'm one of Ajahn Brahm's overseas disciples and it means a lot for me to see how it is over in Perth with the Sangha and Buddhist community. Happiness, health and peace be yours. Anjali and Metta.
I went and showed this to my parents and they loved it too! It really is gratifying to see all of them smile and live a happy monastic life. Hearing all their trials and tribulations it really inspires you and makes you think the wheel of Karma does have it right. I wish them the best and many more smiles! =]
beautifully crafted documentary, moved me to tears to finally get a glimpse of the centers in Serpentine. My eternal gratitude and metta to the production team for this beautiful documentary - Visuddhi Low, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
I hope that wisdom and compassion may reach those in Australia. Those who oppress and mistreat the native population! " Live in harmony with one another and be an example of peace, love, compassion and wisdom" Namaste!
Here's one especially for a great Buddhist teacher and an inspiration to me: Q: Why don't Buddhists vacuum in the corners? A: Because they have no attachments. So, I hear reincarnation is making a comeback.
Beautiful and uplifting documentary. Much gratitude for all the good work of Ajahn Brahm, Ajahn Vayama, Ven Hasapanna and Ven Nirodha ~ so clearly for the benefit of all beings.
Many thanks for sharing this .... Watching the dhammatalks and suttas explanations is one thing watch the daily life and landscape of the monks and nuns almost give the feeling of being there and part of BSWA... specially when you're in northern hemisphere ! So, thanks a lot for this nice moment.
Once you are a true to type Buddhist then you can advice and help others who wanted to seek refuge in Gautama Buddha Sasana. Buddha is that Supreme and Super Normal Human being, who found that there is no difference between men and women except in physique, physical and certain emotional qualities. Ajahn Brahm being a true to type Buddhist, a Buddhist monk, understood this fact very well. That's why he was able to make independent decisions for the betterment of both Bhikkus and Bhikkunis. Perhaps he could be a Bodhisatva, fulfilling the paramithas! Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu! 🙏🙏🙏
Ya'll need to come establish here in the South :P You'll get grits, biscuits, black strap molasses, eggs, pie, greens, and very fat. You'd love it here. Cheap land, temperate year round, low taxes. Shhhh. You didn't hear it from me. Anyway, he's smart doing full ordination. If you can start out building two monestary's from the jump that might be most advantageous. Let me know if you need help.
Please note that, buddhism is not a religion.. it is only a guidance for a vision.. ISLAM,CHRISTIAN all are religion.. they fear to the GOD.. but it is not in the buddhism.
For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works so that no man can boast! For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good work which God has before ordained that we should walk in them!
