Hey Jeff, I’ve watched the whole video to understand the mechanics behind Ajani, Wise Counselor, but you didn’t use it :/ When it is on table with other 3 creatures and you gain 3 points of life, the pridemate gets 3 +1/+1 counters or just 1? Can you please help answering that?? Thanks, cheers
The blue beginner's deck has Diamond Mare in it. I actually kept it in my starting mono blue for a good amount of time for it gave me a cheap blocker with some life gain. I didn't actually understand its value back then but I felt like "uhm... the deck works better with it..." :D
Hey Jeff love the channel! I know you have a taste for the weird fun janky decks so may I suggest one that I brewed up? I call it Jund Recursion. You take advantage of cards like the God Eternals, Squee and Gutterbones that can be re-generated, tucked from the graveyard or played from exile, along with some ramp like new horizons gift of paradise and paradise druid. rhythm of the wild, samuts sprint and kayas ghost form for some hastier regeneration. Add in Natures spiral to recur your kayas ghost forms or rhythm of the wilds and finally Pelakka wurm as your life gain/tank/finisher. Here is the deck list if youd wanna play around with it thanks for looking. If not that's ok have a great day and keep having fun playing magic! Gutterbones×3 Squee the Immortal×3 Paradise Druid ×3 Ilharg the Raze boar×3 God Eternal Bontu×3 God Eternal Rhonas×3 Rhythm of the wild×3 Kayas Ghostform ×3 New Horizons ×3 Gift of Paradise×3 Natures Spiral×3 Pelakka Wurm×3 Stomping Grounds×4 Blood Crypt×4 Overgrown Tomb×4 Rootbound Crag×4 Woodland Cemetary×3 Dragonskull Summit×3 Blast zone×2
I am playing Gideon Oathsworn a physical version of the deck, and we can't figure out if Ajani's pridemate gets a +1 during combat phase with the new combat rule that each creature during combat phase attacks separately so if a lifelink creature attacks before a pridemate ,will the Adjani's primate get a +1 before his attack of after the combat phase, can anyone solve this conundrum for me, please?
The amount of games I've had where I play Ajani's Welcome into Ajani's Pridemate and the opponent just straight scoops is actually a bit worrying. I know it's annoying to deal with but c'mon...
Sometimes you know the weakness of the deck you're playing. When I play my mill deck, I auto scoop if I see RDW being played because it's not setup for that. If I saw mono white being played, I stay because I know I can handle it.
I think this deck would be pretty good with black, using your life as a resource for black spells or abilities, also with some token generation keeping the ajani pridemate and Gideon Companion, just to became more janky and be able to answer some opponents moves, just like showed in the matched against discard and the Nissa with Mass Manipulation
Cat-Dad and Sacrifice-Dad are best dads. XD I really enjoy this deck. I am prooooobably gonna steal it. Everyone make sure to like and subscribe for more content!
