@@manishpanicker707 as per Wikipedia, there are only 19 Marathi movies remade from south movies but there are 27 south movies remade from Marathi movies and there are more than 500 bollywood movies remade from south industry.. so it's mostly Bollywood which remake south movies, NOT MARATHI..
and if ajay atul themseleves lifted part or most of the song then would they "acknowledge!" on tv debate. listen to manikyakalyal song from a malayalam movie and see who copied what.even jeev rangla from jogva is lifted from an african artist song. and hight of double standard is they have received nationak award for that song and they did not even say their sobg is " inspired" for the least.

Being a Kannadiga , I'm ashamed of Arjun Janya the composer who lifted entire natrang song and the sad part is the singer is vijay prakash who lives in Mumbai would have been aware of this because it was a popular marathi song then in 2008 there was no internet buzz like today so people were unaware. But the singer who has sung 'Jai ho' bit in AR Rahman's Oscar winning jai ho could have been more ethical, really lost respect on many of my favs from Kannada film music,😢!

But I disagree with the title of the video, this isn’t South!!! Tamil and Kannada used it who have made some great music too but calling it South isn’t right!!

kannada movie industry isn't same as other south indian movie industries. Sandalwood isn't impressive. (Though music plagiarism is across all the indian film industries - more or less)

If you are talking about bollywood then let me tell you. They give consent to the orginal creators and infact most of copied songs are done by your directors, songwriters only in bollywood. Even you can search this up.
Kannada language is referred as kannad in Marathi literature Same with Tamil we dont say 'tamiL' we have a different sound for the L at the end which is 'ळ' therefore it becomes तमिळ ....

Marathi had copied many movies from South for which they didn't bought any rights.. But regarding naa adicha song vijay antony beautifully made a energetic song out of it.. Only with the tune... Yet the credit for the starting goes to ajay atul they did good job...
The Marathi industry never copied any movies from any industry except only on the recent movie Ved (remakes of Nag chaitanya movie). But they have given credit. Stop blabbering.

Music has many tunes and each tunes can be used in any form which makes u resemble its your tune but in actual that tune will be done without knowing the existence of your marati tune. So dont get surprised that what tune u created is unique and yours only it could have already been existed in any other music before you both Ajay Atul create it. 😂
