Clement played for my Badgers, so I watched him a lot in college. I honestly don't know how the hell he went un-drafted. It's all good though, he's got a ring now. Well deserved.
he was expected to go late in the 1st round or early in the second round idk, he played better than most of the 1st round draft picks could have played, i mean winning a super bowl as a rookie, and putting up 100 yards in the most important game possible... i bet the teams that passed on him are salty now.
I AM SOOOOO HAPPY that the Eagles won the super bowl. Congrates Eagles fan, I am not a fan of either team but, Today I was a Eagle fan. But the best part was, YOU DID IT WITH A BACK UP QUARTER BACK.
Blount was a FA. Patriots tried to lowball Blount, and then signed Gillislee, leaving Blount on the open market until May. The Eagles scooped him up and the rest is history.
The King Of The Internet YOOOOO I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING. I love how in the past 2 of 3 super owls the nfl showed a new scoreboard theme, with sb50 and cbs and then just now with sb52 and nbc's new theme
Oh how quickly the Eagles disintegrated lol. The Pats have Sony Michel, who just broke a few rookie records, Rex Burkhead, who they just re-signed, James White, who needs no introduction, Brandon Bolden, who averaged literally like 16 YPC last year, and then a new guy they just drafted in the 3rd who’s been killing it all training camp. Also James Develin with like 5 TD’s on like 8 carries last year. They also have another ring lol. How’s it in Philly? Y’all looking like the Seahawks or Broncos rn lol-one and done and then back to the scrap pile with like 27 other teams while the constants, like the Pats or Steelers or Saints, just keep chugging along lol.
“Tommunist” you don’t pay attention to the eagles they made it back to the divisional round and they have a better roster than your Pats heading into this season when they destroy this season I’ll come back to this comment.
@@semionjohnson1351 we'll see what they do. I'm still not sold on Wentz not to mention the eagles faced a far less talented secondary from the Pat's that game than what they have now. It's not all about the talent on the roster either.
@Loyal Philly fan miles Sanders is not McCoy, also Clement is average at best. He had a couple good plays against a porous defense in a SB big whoop. Howard I think is ok but averaged less than 4 yards last year.
As a Miami fan I was horrified when I learned of his trade I honestly think that Miami isn't trying to be successful at this point They acquire so many talented players but dunno what to do with them and then they get traded
You do realize Miami's backup Kenyan Drake lead the NFL in rushing the last 6 weeks right? And he catches better and blocks better but keep believing that
Yeah silly. Jack's catch was a good call he caught it took two steps and over the line. Even if Clemente got called back we still would have won with enough points.
How were they not complete? lol. For one of them he had the ball and was readjusting it, not losing it. And the other he dove and crossed the line as a runner... Either way, these rules are so damn stupid. If you have the ball in your hands whether you're juggling it like a clown or it's so far up your ass it's secure and aint going nowhere, I think it should be a catch as long as it doesn't hit the ground on the way out of bounds. The clementes catch was a perfect example of how it should be ruled.
Illegal formation on the Philly Special? Well I would think if it was the refs would have obviously saw that and called it. Otherwise, it is the NFL's fault for not having the rules clear. Either way that would not be the fault of the team but the NFL and/or refs. They practiced the play for many weeks so you would think they would have known what was legal. What this SB comes down to is a beat up Eagles team with a back up QB (even though I think Foles is a good one) didn't get spanked by New England. It was a tight game the whole way. That is what Football should be like. All these penalties in the NFL make watching it kind of annoying and the many many many commercials we have to watch. The Eagles fought and won. That is it.
Look man. We only complain because we see video. The refs make the calls based on their eyes. Everything can't be perfect. The Eagles won because they fought hard. It was not a blow out by NE. If there was more time in a football game NE might have won. We can't nitpick every game. I am guilty of it too but a win is a win. You have to let the human in and let technology take a side seat except for certain plays that are auto replay. New England could have challenged whatever they wanted but did not. Blame them not us. All season teams get away with things. That is part of the game. It is what it is. That is my thinking anyway. :)
Robert Jandrue ball was in his hands, and the ball moved after he took 2 steps. Tell me how the only person I've seen tell me the Philly special was illegal formation was you? They would be talking about it everywhere.
Clement might honestly be the best overall RB on this roster, he’s built like a pit bull and he can catch the ball out of the backfield. Love to see Undrafted kids show out
Corey Clement played like a man possessed in this game. He's the kind of player Philly loves. Undrafted free agent makes great (not just good). We now have a 3 headed monster.
911RoyMan Pumphrey got hurt in preseason Nd set him back as a rookie then got lost in the rotation. When he is healthy and he has time in the system he will be good, he is a younger version of Sproles but more feisty
guys i have to say from a pats fan here gg Eagles put up a fight they put their best out there this season was a good season for the Eagles gg probably us pats probably will win next year but its a probably and gg just wanna say thanks for the game and everyone that are pats fans stop being salty us are just fine
This is the first time that I can remember the underdog looking like the _better_ team. I don't know if you understand what I mean, but this didn't feel like an upset, you know? It looked like two evenly matched teams battling it out, no luck involved.
This team was great before early October but when Ajayi was picked up from Miami, they just ran wild from that point on. Him...Blount...Clement...Barner just ran roughshod over the rest of the league.
Had he caught that tipped int and came up with a big TD in the 4th I'd agree with you, but that didn't happen and Foles played his ass off in a pretty much perfect game and caught a pass for td
Yo Andy....Andy Reid, you see what a balance offense can do!? You remember how you never liked to run the damn ball when you were our coach? We don't miss you Andy....you or McNabb.....the choker!
this is the coolest backfield ever....with Duce Staley, Brian Westbrook, and Correll Buckhalter a pretty close 2nd. very similar dynamics, too. fuggin go00 Birdss
Elite_ P they tried cheating I'm sure.., obviously, it didn't work. Eagles purposely conducted fake practices because they didn't trust NE at all b4 the SB.
My favorite part is that on Clement's touchdown catch (4:30), Blount and Ajayi come flying in from the sidelines and are the first ones there celebrating with him. They're ultimately competing for snaps with one another but there were no egos on that team.
Coming from a pats fan, I think the Eagles played a great game. I don't really agree with the Clement touchdown catch call, I thought he didn't have control. Overall though, GG Eagles, you guys deserved this one! ;)
this aint madden football brother. should never pitch a ball back when you are running at top speed unless theres no time left on the clock. ball security is #1 job!
