Well, Conqueror isn't that poppy compared to Animal, imo. But yeah, both of these songs' productions serve a purpose of promoting an album through somewhat mainstream sound.
@@ilyachap True. Animal has EDM influences in its sound, especially during the bridge with the instrumental break. But I think that Conqueror has a more accessible, familiar sound to it. It's a very uplifting, motivational and upbeat track, especially with the chorus. Conqueror, Queendom and Animal are definitely the most po-soundintg/accessible tracks in their respective albums.
Im usually very picky with artists I like and if I find a favourite album I usually wont like the other ones. But with Aurora I love every single album and I cant even really say which one is my favourite.
I cried when I heard The River, Soulless Creatures, and Daydreamer the first time. They were just so special. Well- then again, this entire album is just so special and I love it
I'm still so sad she didn't put any of the songs in her year-end list. Sure, she liked this album less than Infections, but she could've added some songs on the best songs of 2019 list. Also, rip Daydreamer, my favorite song in the album lol
I loved Daydreamer too. Yeah, considering her reaction to the first EPISODE, I was surprised Ajayii didn’t include any Aurora singles on her year end list. Oh well... apparently Aurora was recently interviewed saying she has a lot of music ready... I’m hoping for a 2021 release of new music.

AURORA is just so uniquely talented and productive as an artist! Her live performances of these songs are incredible! She just recently performed "Soulless Creatures" with the Bergen Philharmonic!
I love The Seed, especially the video, and think it's the most important song on the album... but A Different Kind of Human, especially live when Aurora just looks so empathetic, even looking directly into the camera and certain interactions she does in some of her performances, is powerful medicine. Bit surprised by the reaction to Daydreamer and Apple Tree, and actually surprised she ticked Mothership, being that it's more like an outro. I can definitely see why she's having a hard time with rating these higher having just listened to Infections of a Different Kind, which is quite frankly, perfection. We humans are very relative in how we experience and compare things. She probably should have given more time between the two, but I'm not sure that it would have made that much of a difference. Some of these songs just don't have the power of Infections. Still, it was a pretty solid rating. IMO she shouldn't do a "best albums of the year" video, but should instead a "best albums I listened to this year" video. That would probably have gotten Infection of a Different Kind into her 2019 list.
I love that Soulless Creatures is so ambiguous you could think it has an environmentalist message (which does as well as what you think it is, she has told many times her lyrics are emotional and related to protests for current social conflicts, and are free to everyone's interpretation)
This reaction has been uploaded before, hasnt it? Seems like that by what you say in the video also....(album released this friday? It was released in june 2019). Oh well... It is still a great reaction though.
Many of Ajay's reaction videos were taken down by RU-vid because of copyright claims. Elle isn't Ajay. Elle bless her heart just reuploads them as she has copies of the deleted video for us to enjoy.
Why is this not on her channel? Anyone know? Would have preferred to give her the propper credit, and i can't imagine its Aurora who has had it removed since she doesn't even remove unlreased tracks that end up on youtube. Anyways, thanks for uploading it Elle :)
Sometimes labels go out of their way to copyright claim reaction videos for some reason, so it ends up removed. AURORA even acknowledge and thanked Ajay for her beautiful reaction but her label is what does the copyright claim and she doesn't have any kind of say in that
