The ambient guitar parts were actually one of the main aspects of the music that got me into Sylosis almost four years ago, especially on Monolith and Dormant Heart. Would love to see a more in depth look into how you record them, maybe in a separate video...Thanks Josh
Saw you guys in Cardiff on the tour. Absolutely fantastic and that pit was insane.🎸Just an aside - Every year Bailey looks more and more like a cool regional sales manager, or someone I need to call "sir". Basically like David Brent's boss in The Office 😂
Did you learn anything from your time with Architects that you're now applying to Sylosis? Could be anything from production, certain techniques, marketing strategies, or just helpful advice.
Hi Josh, How would you approach dual/multi amp layering/sounds in both live and recording situations? Have you got any favourite pairs/combinations that you’d be willing to tell us about? Thank you for all the answers you’ve shared thus far! :)
Hi Josh, I recently bought your signature LTD guitar and I am really liking it, but I am having an issue with pickups. They have a cocked wah type sound to the midrange that I can't seem to EQ out. I was wondering if you had advice, EQ or otherwise, to deal with that? I use a Helix and have noticed the issues on several of the amps in it.
As someone who is aspiring to become a better solo player. What would you suggest as a good progression from simple to more complex soloing? Could you name some popular songs that progress in difficulty from easy to hard. P.s. saw you guys live in Norwich and you absolutely slayed.
Honestly dude, find a bunch of bands you like listening to that have solos and figure those out. You’ll have more success learning music you have an interest in already! Example for me, was huge into anime back in the day so I learned the solo in Trigun’s opening theme!
@@donnythei it's normal that videos aren't available in high resolutions, for example, immediately after uploading. You just would have had to wait like 2 minutes.
