Hello Jim. I have been told it is. Was shared with me yesterday from someone who is NOT an attorney is telling people she can do that. Due to the fact that she is NOT an attorney I'm not banking on it. So I reached out to my Immigration attorney who has got 30+ years in her practice, and she is going to follow up with me on Monday. If she says Yes, it's legal, and can now be done then Yes it is. If she tells me NO then someone is doing something ILLEGAL (it's Mexico) then I'd let you know that too. What does that mean instantly. I.e. you don’t have to start the process in the country of origin per current process? Just walk into immigration in Mexico and get the residency card?
