@@user-mg7wh8zq6v the problem is videos have different sounds due to millions of different factors and most notable different cameras used. the bf3 team took many sound recorders different brand and recording conditions to record guns and they all sounded different
I'd say Metal Gear suppressors are plausible and realistic, just gamified for surely balancing. Suppressors break because of many, many shots fired in real life and don't overheat the same way as FC6 and cycle around it.
It is annoying when the military grade suppressors overheat lol crazy, but I'm aware it's probably for balancing (even though the AS Val doesn't overheat 💀)
@@DJace3000 AS Val have integrated Suppressor in barrel which means they can withstand the heat better than most Suppressor you can find online. The true sound of firing while in Suppressor is still loud but you can hear less like 25-30 db less compared to non-suppressor
@@DJace3000yep. I get it’s for balance but it’s a dumb mechanic. Would’ve been far cooler if the goofy homemade ones were a cheap consumable that’d blow out after X shots while the proper ones were just regular ol suppressors.

I must say most of the game have SFX that simulate subsonic rounds. IRL, for having shot a suppressed AK with supersonic rounds, it's still HELLA LOUD.
It's hilarious to see just how many people see " AK47's " when in fact they see either AKM's or other AK copies made somewhere else. Even if its easy to tell the difference, people just don't bother to do even the most trivial research.

The suppressor is ain't supposed to make the sound like no one could hear it's only lower the db of the gun sound when shooting ofcourse it's still loud af
