I second this strongly. And it's even better their chemistry is great. Love their ping pong two way dialogues. This is the perfect host for AK. Love listening to AK + fifthperson combi.
Agreed on ireit global, i am also invested in it, their spain assets were also under rented meaning the rental yield is below market rate and they are already earning profits on it which is a plus since it can usually only go up
Thanks for all the good tips. God bless. I realised that making money is also a skillset I can learn, just like any other skills. At the end of the day, you really can’t bring money to your grave, it’s good to know that AK is doing something good for the needy students. I can only hope more rich people are like that.
I remember when everyone said that you can't go wrong investing in REITs. Maybe so but -58% is many years worth of yield poof! GONE! Lost about $160k because of this madness still thinking if i should sell or still hold.
AK's sharing about the various future risks to consider got me thinking about the question of political risk. With the growing discontent on the ground with the ruling party due to cost of living, perceived overspending, COE prices etc., I worry about what will happen to our currency, our economy, and our share prices if and when the PAP gets voted out. Could you do a video discussing the possible what-ifs to consider in such a scenario please? Whether the change in govt happens in 2025 or another year in future, I still worry about the impact. Thanks!
The banking situation is a reminder that Fed hikes are having an effect, even if the economy has held up so far,” It’s precisely at times like these that investors need to be on guard against the next certainty. First SVB, then signature bank and now first republic bank, these are all the signs of yet another 2008 market crash 2.0
I disagree about banks. They were good during Covid and now still. But there will be a repeat of 2016 2017, and then you see the bank stock. Doesn't mean I will ever let go, but I will wait to add to my position.
