I only run the under barrel launchers with this gun - master key on number one slot, the heavy suppressor & the subsonic ammo are a good combo for not appearing on the map at all :)
It Includes a Suppressor btw! Muzzle attachments Second Slot for when need be! the muzzle velocity is already down there (675m/s) so I'd rather save myself some of that by not using that subsonic or heavy suppressor. However, this was stated in the video: "You can just equip your favorite suppressor but my choice is the light suppressor"
Masterkey for sure - it has gotten me so many extra kills. I actually run arcom as muzzle, just to be able to burst at mid to long range. High power ext., a nice all arounder, 5 shot to kill at 150m I believe? Then reduced to 18. The close combat is underappreciated, at ~75m it outshines all others. Note the currently the cb ext. seem to decrease the firerate, just run the non extended. Scope-wise I run the 2.5x thermal - don't have to try hard on spotted people prone in grass.
@@M107Gaming You can not only not show up on the map because of the subsonic and suppressor but blascos gadget will allow you to not be spotted at all. Don't you play this game?
@@Neo_The_One_ I do play this game but only limiting yourself to the range of a gadget hasn't crossed my mind and i don't think that's the best of ideas!
And then again, having sub + heavy will remove you from the minimap if you take being spotted out of the equation, which is something normal. Playing a specialist just to not be spotted is just not the way things work. People are way more casual than you think. Most of the people don't even use the minimap to it's max potential...
Can’t remember what RU-vidr made a video recently about how using the heavy suppressor with subsonic ammo made the AK5C shots invisible at all ranges on radar. Is this true, and if so, why wouldn’t that be the case for all weapons with that setup? Are there others where this is the case?
That's Nothing new I believe... The subsonic ammo with heavy suppressor should make you invisible in all ranges. However, on this particular weapon due to low muzzle velocity (675m/s), I wouldn't use a heavy suppressor nor Subsonic ammo because those actually reduce the muzzle velocity even more. generally, I just don't like suppressors in 2042, I believe the distance from your enemies penalty is ridiculous and makes suppressors completely useless. BF4's concept of suppressors was way better, to reduce muzzle velocity and get you off the radar completely. in real life however, suppressors INCREASE muzzle velocity, which increases the damage output as well in the expense of some more recoil. looking at it from a balancing perspective, that wouldn't make sense in Battlefield but so doesn't the current rules on suppressors in 2042!
That is the case for all weapons with this setup, the reason you do not see it is because: 1. the heavy supps are only available on very few guns and 2. subsonic ammo usually is really bad BUT there are some exceptions. This one being one of them. Subsonic is basically a one to one copy of Standard ammo just slightly lower velocity, so its basically a straight up upgrade (no tracers plus the synergy with supps) And because of its awesome damage ranges the Type 4 really doesnt impact performance up until 75m, and that is really where 95% of all your gun fights usually happen. Different to M107 I don't think velocity is of any matter in this game at all, apart from snipers. So I would recommend running Subsonic with Type4 and slapping the Masterkey on it for house clearing and clutch situations
@@novo.sorrow Hey mate, thanks for the comment. I wouldn't say velocity in an AR is as important as a sniper rifle but I believe it has its importance in gunfights. hitting targets with a M16 is just really easier than the AK5C for example. between M16 and AK5C there is a 200m/s gap and I just don't think that can be ignored. By the way, Great explanation!
@@M107GamingMaybe a bit of an exaggeration on my end, fair enough. I just feel like pre aiming is easy to account for, and if you consider the enemy does neither see - a muzzle flash - tracers - or a red dot on the map when you start shooting at them...I dont think its that big of an issue with my recommended setup Overall on most guns having a better velocity sure helps, the closer you get to hitscan the easier it is obviously. Especially if you do not have the benefits of a big supp and subsonic On guns where subsonic is actually good (damage and range wise) I will still always recommend it because 90% of players are completely oblivious to their surroundings, and if they don't see where they are getting hit from they need ages to react I would even argue having no tracers is more useful then the minimap removal
@@novo.sorrow Absolutely. No tracers is way better than being off the radar. I believe the average player doesn't look at the minimap as much as they should and it they most of times pay the price!
