The Durban Magistrates' Court has postponed the case of five of the suspects linked to the murder of rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend - Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane to the sixth of March 2024.
They face ten counts - including two charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and unlawful possession of firearms.
The five are Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Lindani Ndimande, Siyanda Eddie Myeza, Mziwe-themba Harvey Gwabini and Lindokuhle Ndimande.
* The slain rapper's father Tony Forbes says despite the arrests and the fact that the police have kept them updated during the year-long investigation, the family is still struggling to come to terms with his death.
Attending the first court appearance of 5 of the 7 suspects in the Durban Magistrates Court, Forbes says the start of the court case is only the beginning of their journey to get answers.
Forbes says he believes the true mastermind of the murder plot is yet to be arrested
