AKAI MPC ONE - How To Load Samples From Loop Kits (WAV & MP3)

I just got my MPC One last month. I made my first beat watching your videos and now I am exploring how to use samples. Thank You so very much once again!!! Please keep them coming!!! I have one question / request. Can you do a Masterclass on the MPC One covering all the different uses and functions of the MPC One or continue to make videos on the MPC One arranging your playlist into that of a masterclass covering essentials and more advanced uses and techniques. I know it sounds like alot and...it probably is. LOL. But I figure it couldn't hurt to ask. Also do you have a Paytreon?

I I have not got it yet but my intentions are to use it to my best ability I never use a multi sample before I always just work in retail it’s very intimidating but I’m willing to give it a try the way you’re explaining it seem like I will be able to get it unit that I purchased which is it OK MPC one I ordered is on back order and I won’t receive it until next weekend purchasing it from guitar Center I also went through the process of purchasing another unit which they say is not outside it’s also on a back order which is the novation 61FMK3 so I’m looking forward to learning that as well as learning how to sample and hopefully can make some nice grouper listening.

yeah you seem to be the best at explaining most everything i've covered so far which isn't much.... plus you don't talk down to people so its easy to listen to you explain and replay if you move too fast. im wanna learn this more so i can start making my own how to vids but more humor based while doing it because this thing pisses me off big time!!!! but yeah not having the right computer and stuff makes for some angering ish too...not able to access all the f9 sounds or samples or whatever... i thought you could go back and fourth between your computer and the akai like a screen mirror thing almost if you follow? does it have that ability to do that so you can do some things on the computer plus i wanna learn how to record lyrics and add them later?

Dude I have been doing research on the MPC One to see if it’s how I want to try to get back into beat making and your tutorials are SOO helpful. You answer my questions as they come up while watching the videos. I watched all of the ones on Akai RU-vid and you actually explained the few questions I had left. I’m seriously considering getting one. If I wanted to mess around with a turntable to go with it AND to just play vinyl on what would you recommend (on the lower cost side)? Thank you

Nice video! It makes me sure that the MPC One is the right choice. What about recording scratches directly to the MPC as a single track? Is it possible? Which mode is the best to do that?

I really like the MPC One, I only miss looping function with back and forth option, it would be nice to have some pad sounds loop with x-fade so you can make some smooth loops

I watched this video to because I’m thinking of buying one. I’m curious to learn the functionality & capabilities in a live performance application. I’m a keyboardist/saxophonist for a cover band, and some of the songs require more simultaneous parts/instruments than I can handle. Would I be able to prerecord a section of a song (such as horn section stabs, synth lead, keys accompaniment) and assign to a trigger/s so I can concentrate on playing other parts on my sax or keyboard? And would there be enough memory to save and create a list of songs?

Hey I asked this question on another RU-vid channel recently & I’m assuming what I want to do is possible- let’s say I’m a song writer & I upload a finished MP3 song of mine into my MPC ONE to jam along with other midi instruments.....I’m guessing that syncing up the timing/bpm’s is possible, correct? If my song is 120 bpm’s & I set up a midi instrument like a keyboard etc to play along with my song(like a live DJ set etc)- as long as everything is connected via midi that it can all be synced up, right??? Makes sense to me anyway. Thanks for any input you have!! 🔥👊🏼

Can anybody explain to me why can't I only hear my drums when I hit the pads but when I switched to my sample I can't not hear it when I'm recording? Do you add your sample to drum program or do you add it into Track? For some reason I keep having this issue and I would have liked to fix it 🙂

Reply borninamsterdamzoo·71d Mpc One doesn't support mounting internal drive or SD card in controller mode as of version 2.8, while Live/X do. At first I thought this was a mistake or a setting mishap or something. But multiple users report the same.

I’m so torn. This or maschine mk3? I know this standalone but no battery so I’m subjected to desk. If I’m at desk mk3 seems to have a really nice workflow. Thoughts? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank You!!! For some reason I've been failing at this. My true question is, how do I bring a mp3 or wav file from my phone???

My mp3 files won't play. I tried a bunch of different mp3s. I can see the waveforms in the sample editor and hear my expansions but I can't preview/play my mp3 files. My SD car is a a brand new Sandisk extreme pro 128 gb formatted to ExFAT.

What's the difference between the MPC Live and the MPC One outside of the MPC One having smaller pads?
