The Akai MPK Mini Play MK3 is not too shabby, especially for a beginner like me, with no keyboard or sound controller experience and also because I am starting off, not connected to a PC, as learning how to use a Digital Audio Workstation at this stage would be one step too far.
However, whilst the Mini Play has the keyboard, drum pads, a speaker, internal instrument and drum sounds and a variety of real-time sound modifying knobs and switches, for me it lacks two significant functions...
