Absolutely love it! Would watch it even longer but then it almost rivals full scale podcasts haha Only problem is getting too bullish on too many things with very limited funds to invest in 😂 Maybe you could do an overview of what % of your portfolio the respective plays you share take in your overall portfolio
@@r.v.9185 Thanks for the feedback! I actually really appreciate it. That's a good idea! Typically most plays I put around 1% in, if I'm super bullish 2% to 3%. Gives me staying power to slowly dip into alts vs losing my capital with a few dumb moves. Akash I initially started with 1% and then later took it up to 3%. Obviously though as it goes up it becomes a larger portion of my portfolio via price growth.

Thank you so much for this video. When I first heard about AKT 3yrs ago I bought it. One of my tenants of this project that I don't think a lot of people understand is you cannot have decentralized anything unless the cloud it's built on or utilizing is also decentralized.
Jesse this was fantastic. You put Akash on my watch list many months ago but I haven’t bought since I’m taking a pretty conservative strategy this cycle. This answered a lot of questions around usage and really showed the professionalism of the interviewee. As always, I appreciate your bullish and bearish case. Given your bullishness, may be worth you finding some users of the network (GPU renters at corporations) and interviewing them. I intersect with ML and crypto and can see a lot of operational holes using this in enterprise. Granted he mentioned that’s a growth area. Thanks again for the great material!

Akash reminds me of something like limewire but for cloud storage. Pretty interesting and impressive how quickly they filled this need that I feel is a pretty new niche

Great video!! Akash sounds like it's one of the few crypto projects that actually has a use case. However, I'm still unclear why Akash can charge so much less than Amazon? Greg said that using H100 on Amazon is like $12 while Akash is like $2. How can they be that much cheaper?
Efficiency. Blockchains at their core replace inefficient systems with code. Imagine if you could replace Airbnb's corporate structure with just code. The fee Airbnb takes can be significantly smaller as the overhead is so much lower. Secondly Amazon can charge top prices because of how big they are. Akash is tapping into GPU's that previously were just sitting there unused. So any revenue they generate is an improvement. Therefore the people renting out the GPU's don't mind renting them for much cheaper.

I honestly don't know. It's still super small so 100% could go way higher. However I've been wrong many times before. Maybe hedge by taking 1/4 your profit and jumping back in and using the other 3/4 elsewhere? Also you could wait for a pullback and if there isn't one just pick other projects and accept it. One thing I've learned is there's always a gazillion opportunities in the space. Don't feel like you've missed out.
Becoming a provider requires a data center and like a team of data center experts. They should do like “folding at home” where home desktops can be used

Look up Neon, solana evm that uses bridged solana assets that can be used in evm dapps. Very early and promising especially since we all know solana is the better chain but does not have the cool dapps that evm does. This fixes that problem
Jesse I understand the hype but 100x means Akash's MC will end up at 68 billion, making it the 3rd biggest crypto (non stable coin) of all time just below ETH & BTC. Do you really think it's going to jump tp 68 billion from 684m?
I mean if everything else didn't move then it'd be the 3rd biggest. However I expect the entire market to go up quite a bit. BNB was over $100 billion last cycle.
After this cycle and ETF approvals it is very doable. Remember 1 trillion into crypto market cap is 1000 billions! Over the next 10 years 10-13 trillion will flow in. AKT will do well
You have not taken into account that other cryptos will rise tooo .sooo in reality it will not be the 3rd largest...however anything over 40 dollars is good
I believe it tripled last cycle after that. I think your disconnect is you don't understand what's a short term play vs a long term play. Koge was a short term degen play. Akash is a long term fundamental play.
Also that was when I first got into crypto investing on my journey, I was pretty degen back then. I thought I understood the space, but really had so much more to learn. Still do, always learning.

@NA-on2ox No.. it will be a top 10 project.. still early! When you have the creator of ETH speaking highly of the tech and creator of Kaspa then the sky is the limit! Not to mention the creator of Kaspa is also mentioned in the ETH white paper! It's a no brainer!

Yes to a degree but shouldn’t have a crazy impact or anything. Pretty much every token has some sort of incentives. Even BTC technically incentivizes miners via miner rewards.
I've figured out a lot since watching your videos a month ago but when I'm going to buy Akash on my other wallet its saying theres not enough liquidity. I just transferred over ETH so do I just need to wait until all the transactions fully process?

LOL! It's a scam and you really need to start distancing yourself from this. Don't say you weren't warned. Promoting the Akash network will backfire badly.
Akash market cap is close to $500 million, meaning it would extremely unlikely I could push the market cap up with this video in any meaningful way. Plus been sharing about Akash for the entire past year.However Influencers definitely do this. Usually it's with super tiny market cap tokens. So like tokens that have sub $1 million market caps or sometimes a little higher. They'll buy, pump them across socials, then rotate out. Then they'll use bottom to peak gain in their next video to convince more people to rotate into the next one. TBH the influencers who do this are super stupid. Everything on chain is completely transparent and nearly every single influencer who does this eventually gets caught. Eventually they'll likely face legal action of some sort later down the line as well. To avoid this check market cap and of course just learn to do your own research and differentiate between low quality projects and high quality projects. Quality projects at low market caps are great! However they're insane rare, most raise capital.

He talked about AKASH nearly a year ago. The lesson is to DYOR, i bought AKASH 2 years ago because this kind of info is in the public u just have to do the work and look like all of us
