Artist AKay47 and singers NJays come from Papua New Guinea. Papua New Guinea is a Melanesian country in the pacific islands. It has over 800 different languages and a vast array of tribes and cultures.
This song is sung in english and motu which is from Central Province in PNG. The NJays are part Motuan in Central Province and Trobriand Islands in Milne Bay.
The dancers are from Papua in PNG and have face paint depicting different traditional icons from the Hiri-Trade which the motu-koitabuan people historically took part in Papua New Guinea.
