Akena might be expelled from UPC 

Lira Municipality Member of Parliament and Uganda Congress Party member Jimmy Akena faces outright expulsion from his party if a committee established to investigate him finds him guilty of contravening the party's constitution. Differences between Akena, and UPC Party Leader Olara Otunnu boiled to the brim last week with a public spat. Akena is being investigated over accusations that he was undermining the UPC leadership using a pressure group within the party which has severally gone public and critical of Otunnu's style of leadership.
