The P120 seems like a clear winner in most reviews I see. But one thing I did notice is you weren't always talking into the mic. Your mouth was basically above. But it's hard to tell since I can't see what camera angle you are at. Just make sure to speak directly to the capsule located near the bottom or middle of the mic. Not the top. Still a great review though.
im seeing a lot of different reviews, and kinda depends in what u using them for. i wanna use it for voces, rap mostly, so i think i gonna go for the 120. still a hard decision tho
hello which microphone stand do you use for the microphone at 2020 because I don't know which one to take at the level of the thread size of the microphone tip
@@VYxsouI don’t own either mic anymore but from my recollection I preferred the AT2020 for my vocals when singing at a higher pitch and I preferred AKG P120 when recording in my natural tone as it sounded smother and natural for lower pitched sounds.

I got a tye akgp120. Idk if it's just me but it really doesn't sound that good. When I occasionally live stream on youtube it sounds almost muffled and cut out randomly almost like it's underwater. I've changed numerous settings and looked up countless videos but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I use a normal 48v phantom power box. The weird part is I have no problems using it with soundtrap. It actually sounds a million times better. I've tried using obs and stream labs obs just to get the same problem. Maybe I need to get a audio interface? I was thinking of getting the scarlet solo but I'm not sure if that's what the problem is.
@@SamKIA got ya, so if i wanted to add my own high end with a Saturn 2, PultecEQ etc Which hz would you add top end to? to not overdue the mics high end that it comes with already
@@flamersss that's a personal taste inquiry, I like the microphone raw due to it's netural frequency response, but if you want you can add some to the air frequencies (I'd say 18k) to open the microphone up
