The manufacturer TG introduced the gearbox as a gen 8 variant, it is not the gen 8 you can drop into it from a JM Gen 8. Would not introduce it as a v2 as it’s not a V2 (you can say it’s similar to v2 but the manufacture refer it as more close to the gen 8 due to the way it connect with the motor and it’s structure ) The color of the gearbox is brand specific instead of platform specific, e.g. CYMA Orange V2 gearbox. AKA RED AK gearbox. XYL RED V2 gearbox. LEHUI transparent polycarbonate gearbox etc. To add on, JM actually has revamped their gen 8 gearbox in recent months. So, “gen 8” which used to refer to gearbox housed by JM M4A1 is actually progressively changing and not refined to one particular old model.

Your one is TG / XYL / HLF? TG is gen 8, XYL and HLF are v2

Will not use 11.1v on it. It is super reliable and shoot well with 7.4v. I won’t damage it with 11.1v . Xyl arp9 is more durable even with 11.1v.

@@StarkhPaintball yes you can improve the air seal because their speed is suppressed to get pass the speed test for legal reason. You can get the xyl arp9 which shoots 260 fps if you like the model, the upgraded SR16 or wait for a week or two when we have the new batch shooting over 320 fps come.

Google Slong Gel Blaster. Their gearbox is convinced as tough as fuck. Out of the box 300+fps

we make the muzzle ourselves and find a factory to produce them.

The arp9 drum comes with the parcel. The tracer is part of the modular tracer kit that need to be ordered separately.

In my country did not include with drum mag..must order separately..

@@panjihitam3651 the original parcel from the factory didn’t comes with the drum, but we find that the drum is more reliable than we expect, have not encountered any misfires or any problematic drums. Super smooth from the stock. (External material and power are not comparable to xyl arp9 tho. ) Due to the good performance of its drum, we pack them in one go in our shop.

The outer barrel of the older version cannot fit a tracer directly.

@@xR4llen hi Allen the 7.4 v battery comes with it is quite large , not a small one . We didn’t tried to see horn long it last but should be enough for a gun if an hour or two without issue. Unless you always keep the auto mode on.
