Hi Ivan. good to see you again. I haven't seen you for few weeks. Hope that everything is going good there. From a quick google search on the name, it seems like the name Akheilos came from a Greek mythology. AKHEILOS (Acheilus) was a shark-formed sea daimon. He was once a handsome boy who was transformed into a shark by the goddess Aphrodite as punishment for boasting he was more beautiful she. Transformed into a shark ? hence the shark mesh? ha ha. Also it is fitting that this watch was transformed into this $359 NH35 poor man's clone from the original and beautiful Omega. The bezel seems to be good and everything seems to be "just okay..". Nothing really stands out to attract customers, but an interesting name and pc. However, for that money, probably, I would go with San Martin which is way more refined watch at that price range. Hi Alex! Ah thanks for sharing that... I honestly just didn't bother this time around as it's so frequently just a name that the maker fancied and slapped onto the watch. In some cases (like this) there is at least some rationalisation and logic. I think the fact that they did some actual designing puts them above Pagani no-Design... it might even put them above San Martin in that department. But yeah, not the quality... San Martin is still where it's at for $250.

Not sure about this one Ivan, bezel and case are a great size but lug width a little large I think. Looks decently put together though. Thanks for showing us 👍

Hi Ivan , from the outset it just seems like your average A-X homage with £15 of strap extras thrown in which one is useless for the avg size wrist & no-one really likes the case side graffiti with specs , not a bad effort but overpriced by a fair margin as much as you've been kind to it .

Agreed about the case side markings - these are usually detrimental rather than being of any benefit

@@PerthWAtch yes maybe ... I have a chinese "homage" to the same Omega that has been running fine for a couple of years ... I prefer original designs from watches in this price range

Original design would be great but is a rarity among Chinese watches at this range. I would say Pagani has not managed to copy the twist lugs of Omega very well at all. And they tend to copy a lot more slavishly rather than take any design creativities
