Akhtar Rasool was indeed a very trusted player of Pakistan Hockey who always played a crucial role win of the team. May Allah Kareem grant him good health and vastness and height in spirtual life and always bring happiness to his family. Ameen Sohail Warraich is also man of versatile personality who has ability to interview a personality to project his all traits and achievements including those traits hidden from the public in a beautiful manner. However, he does not touch upon one of the most important aspect of a personality which is health and increased weight which is obviously to hide his own weight which is injustice and Khula Tazad which he must consider and include in list of points. He should also immediately make serious effort to reduce his own weight and go through regular Lipid Profile Tests. According to Akhtar Rasool, "Only a technocrat i.e. some former international player) can revive Pakistan hockey." I personally know the Presidents/CEOs of today`s leading hockey countries including Holland, Belgium, Argentina, and Australia. They were not even hockey players. They have been appointed to the posts because of their administrative abilities. In Pakistan too, the most successful President of the PHF was a non-hockey person. In Air Marshal Nur Khan's two tenures as the President PHF, Pakistan won two Olympic golds and two World Cups. Later in 1994, when Pakistan first won the annual Champions Trophy after 14 years and the World Cup after 12 years, Air Vice Marshal Farooq Umar was the President PHF. Farooq Umar took some revolutionary steps. For the first time a foreign coach, Hans Jorritsma from Holland was attached to the Pakistan team. Many former Pakistani greats such as Shahnaz Sheikh & Islahuddin openly opposed this. Jorritsma employed video analysis; first time in Pakistan hockey. A foreign highly skilled physiotherapist was also employed. And in 1994, Pakistan won two major titles after a long time. Credit goes to AVM Farooq Umar.

In his second tenure, Pakistan couldn’t qualify for the World Cup (2014) for the first time.
