In Japan, the nerds have won. Akihabara is gamer nerd Mecca and the location is top tier. Akihabara Station is just north of the Kanda River (The same prominent river you see from Tokyo Tower vantage). 3 train lines stop here. 3! Not to mention Ochanomizu station, Kanda station and Iwamotocho which are all less than a 3 minute walk. Location. Location. Location.
Gamer Mecca is so cool, and I'm not even a gamer. Retro SEGA signs in windows and 8 bit monsters crawling on the outside of buildings made this a fun drive and I hope you enjoyed it too.
