Thanks for these giveaways Albert!! I'd like to gift these to someone else if that's okay, I have 2 sets of goggles and would love if someone else who doesn't own a set gets them :)
Looks like they work really well. The desert video with camels was ironic after mentioning the heat in the desert. Please enter me for the scrubber. Thanks for all the work you put into these reviews! Stay cool!!!
I'd like to see how that new Avatar GT compares to these. I liked how you used that stick to get the VTX antenna up really high on that RC truck. I'd like to also enter into the scrubber give away, thank you.
Surprised to see any new analog gear. It's been a long time! Interesting they used two wires each for power on the Alpha 10. That must draw a ton of current. Please enter me for the scrubber give away, thanks!
Was interesting to see how far that 5W goes on the ground vehicle! Don't think I would have a use for these, but always nice to see different niche products. Cheers!
Wow 5w and 10w vtx, silly mw vtx's lol. 5w vs 1w results on ground regarding reflections, learned something new. More power is not always better. Can't wait for the dessert 10w test π FPV rc car racing seems promising. Please enter me in the scrubber giveaway π
Some serious output there. That 10w version is a beast. 5w one would be a bit easier to fit in a vehicle. But imagine how far a wing could go on 10 watts. Awesome review and tests Albert. Congratulations to the winner of the goggles. ππ
Pretty cool test. I can see numerous applications for this VTX, but I think the average user ( I could be wrong) may not find this useful. Nonetheless great review.
Lol Albert "Not sure if we'll be able to test this out" *on camera* I have had the AKK FX Dominator in an EMAX Buzz going on 4 years now working like a champ as well as a couple of their other lighter powered analog vtx's, never had a single issue with them. In fact not sure which vtx it is but their 20x20 with onboard dvr got smashed to hell and back but still works I have to use a toothpic nopw to start the dvr recording as all the buttons have been smashed off but it still works lol. Wish they'd have the guts to send you one of them Analog Thermal Cams to review!
Fantastic ride and review, Albert! π The 5w version, does it have 30x30 or 20x20 mounting holes? Unfortunately, I couldn't find any split cameras in the market anymore... But I still have a Caddx Turtle v2 here and I'm going to put it with a Rush VTX (mini, I believe) in a FPV pod, mostly for rc cars. And I'm going to use dual lock (it's similar to velcro) to fix it on the cars and be able to move it between them. But it's a real shame that they don't make it anymore... Because they were pretty good cameras. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! ππ
He showed it in the manual at around 6 minutes I think. Power depends on the input voltage so you'll have to re-watch that portion because I'm not going to go back to type it here.
My vista I've gone on ground around block thru 2 buildings with 4 apartments wide each. Barely makes it though.. i go all around the neighborhood. This 5w or 10w should make it further. Granted my 3w barely makes it too but wondering if might be my receiver end problem since all of a sudden my 800mw explorer getting shitty range
