Hopefully you get a chance to check out the rest of ARTMS' full album, I think there's a few songs on there with the kind of vibe you liked from them. If you do, three of the songs have fun little track MVs (Flower Rhythm, Candy Crush and Air), and the last song on the album, Birth, has a proper MV. That one I'd definitely recommend checking out!
YESSSS. The comment about interactive choreography. HARD agree, I feel like choreo for groups in general opens up SO many opportunities that so many kpop choreos just miss out on because everyone is doing the same thing. Like, its not the worst thing in the world, but choreographers should be striving to make choreos interactive where possible/necessary.
19:18 well, to be fair, people have such different dancing styles that, to me, i don't mind watching individual fancams of the whole group, especially if i love the group lol. enhypen is one group that comes to mind where, if i watch a fancam, i end up watching all (or if it's a dance practice, i literally repeat it seven times for each member then once more for the whole group lmao) or txt as well bc it doesn't matter if they're all doing the same dance style, but they all have their own ways of executing the choreo; however, it's ironic that i used both those groups as examples bc i feel like their choreos are similar to exactly what you wanted where we get member interactions or they all intertwine with each other in the choreo, but bc they're two of my ults, they're who immediately came to mind when it comes to each member having such a different dancing style from one another that i just end up watching everyone. 😂 i guess it depends on the fan tho, bc that's just how i personally view it. 22:36 oh i agree!! i think this is something i never considered before i got into k-pop bc i've always loved music and i have liked some music artists outside of their music, but i feel like k-pop has this way where it's easy to feel attached to a group/artist (and a huge part of it is bc of their promotions and contents outside of their music that lets their personalities/dynamic as a group shine a bit more) so while music is what will make me interested in a group, it's not what will make me necessarily stay bc i casually listen to a lot of groups but me loving/stanning a group goes way beyond their music, even if the music aspect is a huge part of it too but it's not the WHOLE thing yknow? so yeah, i agree that liking a group can also make you like a song that you may not be as into if you don't already like the group but obviously, i don't love, or like, every song of my favorite artists but that's normal, especially if they have a diverse discography and i hate it when someone thinks you're less of a fan just bc you don't like every song of your favorite artist ... like please shut up, it's not that deep lol. sorry i ended up ranting LMAO, my ramble just went here and it annoys me when i think of people like that. 😂😂
17:00 Your comment about choreography is so funny especially after today where BELIFT LAB dropped a whole 27 minute video hitting back at claims that their new girl group ILLIT plagiarized NewJeans and they included examples of common choreo from other K-pop groups. 😭 As the comments have said for "Virtual Angel," the deliberate cuts was intentional(JinSoul said in a fan meet that the original version of the MV had even more flashes but the team asked for them to tone it down a bit LOL). There's a "Human Eye" version that takes away those cuts. Also, I hope you'll check out and react to their full album, you'll probably like the other songs too(also check out HeeJin's solo album from last year). And Yves dropped her solo EP debut last month too.
