Excellent job Pierre's, you sit back and listen to this brother dropping imperative, well needed knowledge!! This brilliant brother, brings epic wisdom, knowledge and understanding to the panic room!! He's also building a city in African name after him!! "This king need to be protected "
@@juliedream1625 his birthday is April 16 He is an Aries all day boo boo 😂😂😂😂 #AriesGangGang🙌🙌🙌🙌 Just so you know Taurus starts April 20th I already knew that because mine is April19 the last day to be an Aries 😉😂😂
Good interview. One observation, usually Pierre you are great at getting your guests to provide context for something they're saying. For example, I have seen several interviews where one of your guests will say something like, "Yeah, I went with Pam. Pam is my ride or die. I'm always with Pam." Most likely, you're audience is thinking, "Who tf is Pam?" And, Pierre is great at asking the question, getting the guest to provide context for WHO "Pam" is? Similarly, I like that Pierre usually, (or in the 6 or 7 podcasts that I've seen) asks follow up questions. I do not watch 'surface' or superficial interviews, where the guest is really there (being interviewed) "solely" to promote some project (business, movie, music, whatever). I do wish you had gone a little more in-depth with Akon. For example, "Akon, what was your Senagalese father saying to you, after he found out you were in jail?" (especially since his father seemed like a, "no nonsense" type of guy. Another example is when Akon said, when he was in jail, he had, 'a 10 year goal of getting to work with Michael Jackson.' You were running low on time, and you both only kinda' glossed over it. Yeah, it just so happened that MJ and Akon had the same attorney, so they met that way. My question would have been, "Being that this was #1 of your goals, exactly what was your plan to get to work with him, had it not been just the sheer coincidence of sharing the same attorney?" Akon, being the strategic-thinker that he is, I'd have been curious as to, "HOW" he was going to make that goal happen? Overall good interview, and I do find Pierre to be very entertaining.
I knew Akon was the real deal, when i heared him promoting Africa 1st, and telling yall, Africa is calling you home, money to be made, and you get to help your ppl
No shit! Akon does dive in to crowds during concert. I was there in Fields in Copenhagen, Denmark, year 2008. Dude jumped and got his T-shirt ripped apart by ppl, and ppl were fighting for parts of the T-shirt, Popo came as well. What a night as I am recalling it right now.
I'm so glad Kon kept it real on the race and religion BS. God damn black community is entirely too focused on race. Love who you love. Marry who you love. Procreate with WHO TF YOU LOVE!!!
29:45 I always think about why they even teach us as kids about blacks being slaves. That’s so fucked up. It creates so much tension in people from an early age
Akon is a historian. He reminds me of myself. I'm into all kinds of entrepreneurial shit also! Just not on his level. Wishing to be there off my hard work and good decisions!
South Africa is real Africa!! It's a black man's country, that's what the anti-apartheid revolution was about, and that's what the anti- neo-colonial movents are currently all about! There is more to S. Africa than Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Pierre, I love the satin tie and i I will admit i am not that light but because I am o chocolate black which to me is beautiful they don't like me i am not trying to say that it is all about color but sometimes it was about my personality sometimes it was i did not look like one another we are still black we need to stick together if your helping people out Pierre get on my podcast I would like to have you sprinkle me I never post on pages but I am asking you to help us out but if not I rock with this show because you bring people on that to have meaningful conversations. We do not see it as real Afrika because they are colonizers just like America. **Black is beautiful and all colors that God has made.
Akon has alot of good points, but he's wrong about 1 thing, "African American" children do need to learn about our history, good bad and indifferent.....I like Akon alot, from his music to his philanthropy to his work in Africa. On the other hand even though Akon was born in America, his parents aren't from America. African American history is not his history, so it makes sense why a part of him feels the way he does. His DNA does not have the same mental trauma and physical ailments passed on by our parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc. I do agree, we don't need to use slavery as a crutch, but generational trauma caused by Slavery and Jim Crowe is a "thing".
Deuteronomy 28: 1-68........we will always be at the bottom until our King comes.....we didn't keep our God's laws........btw.......blacks are not African.....they're Israelites
I love Akon but it appears his mind has been infiltrated by Kevin Samuels cult. Don't let the temptation of beautiful women be your demise. Learn to adore the inside of a woman instead of the physical beauty so much. There are so much more to a woman than her physical attributes. Inner attributes are more important than the physical.
Great interview, just a thought Akon is African, the blood of slaves does not run in his veins. Unless his children have mother’s who are descendants of enslaved people why teach them black history.
Ummm but Akon is getting loans for his infrastructure from China 👀🗣 which is supporting modern day colonialism. So when Akon said “it’s just buisness” he was talking about himself while also being a hypocrite 😸
So wouldn't it be modern day colonialism if he got his loan from the US or UK? And why that word when every businessman gets a loan from someone else to get their business going? Donald Trump, Mike Bloomberg etc got & get loans for their businesses, so what's the difference?
Dayum Akon was truly kicking knowledge. If us Blacks would just stick together and come together in unity, my gawd we would be a force to be reckoned with….
it s not because a prison is run by black people that inmate will be treated better, that is ridiculous, we need invest in programs that create positive opportunities for our communities.
Pierre, be quiet and let Akon talk. The man is highly intelligent, and experienced. Pierre is a speed bump and distraction to the knowledge Akon is dropping.
He's a king now. Great staff watching Akon after a while. As an African child I grew up idolizing him. I Sam glad I did. Today I'm a better person. The best part is finding out he was an outstanding businessman what I was and still work towards. Thanks again guy.
