The best social diary programme on any African television channel is "Stories trending around the world" anchored by the elegant Ojinika "Ojy" Okpe on Arise TV. Not forgetting cerebral inputs by the 3 brilliant OAPs, Reuben Abati, Rufai Oseni and Ayo Mairo Ese. You guys are simply the best❤🎉👑✅🇳🇬.
I want to sincerely thank all Nigerians who are involved in the counter-endbadgovernance planned-peaceful protest. You have shown that a peaceful protest is indeed possible. Thank you so much.🎉
@@ugowilliams8437The happiest slave is the that one that is made a supervisor to other slaves. There's no word like freedom in his dictionary. Mention that word and he'll make sure you get to the whipping pole
Why should MTN block people’s lines at this crucial time though? Both people who linked their sims to NIN and those who did not were all cut out. How dare MTN!
Nigeria is governed by a very wicked government. The Tinubu APC government is a very wicked government. NIMC has turned to a body where Nigerians must pay and be afflicted with so much pains to register for NIN. So there is nothing this government can do to to ease registration for NIN... Where did this APC government of Tinubu come our from
NIN has been free from 2012 You people are too redundant You had the opportunity to register free for over a decade but you decide not to Now that you have to pay for it, you're complaining.SMH
@@Horlah19Didn't mind some Nigerians. Always waiting to the last minute and complain when there are consequences. Everytime is not govt, we the people no dey hear word sometimes
Pls ma just as u said that now that the MTN has unblocked our lines how are we going to pay them back, my question too is this I'm a forex trader and I loss lots of money too wen they blocked my MTN line and some of my friends too and other people too loss money because of that so pls the fair lady saying it's bad by destroying MTN office but me lossing money isn't that bad will Nigerian government or MTN pay me
Just know that the coming protest will be hot. This is just the beginning. We just heard from interpol that millions of dollars leave this country every minute. Our rage is getting the right tone. All these nonsense must stop.
😢 Which way Nigeria? Telco blocking people's line, fuel line resurfacing, hunger biting hard, rising prices of food, the list is endless but yet politicians are living large.
Honestly they think Nigerians are go*t. All because Nigerians have developed thick skin to weather their wickedness. But they are going to learn in a hard way
It is unfortunate for our leaders that they usually wait until Nigerians push them b4 they act. It is an indication that they are not proactive. For MTN, you acted at the wrong time, it is not a time like this such act should come up, you know how hot the masses are at the moment in Nigeria
Ayo, don't give these service providers MTN & Co any reason to believe they have a right to deactivate anybody's phone line. Was there any court order to that effect? If they are so efficient, bandits or kidnappers won't have a field day using their lines to demand ransom from their victims. It's only on innocent Nigerians that they know how to show efficiency in their operations.
Ayo. It's not advisable to wait for such rage before doing the right thing. It was a sabotage from the government to block Nigerians against the protest. But seeing that the people are ready they have to immediately do the needful
as an apc supporter we will protest.. nothing will stop us not to.. apc supporters should also come out and support the protest... we should not be portable, that don't have a sense of reasoning.
Is not about the deadline or NIN registration, is lack of competence and reliability of the system, Imagine while doing mynpolice character the same NIN that is verified by MTN is invalid on the POSSAP portal
There is too much "anyhowness" in the country, individuals are stronger than institutions/system. Police, FRSC, Banks, NIMC, INEC, IMMIGRATION all have different databases of citizens. Why not just one Unified System?.
So MTN had to wait for people to protest before they will unblock peoples lines, if the people did not protest, will mtn unblock their lines? Are the people not spending money to buy mtn recharge cards? Now they have unblocked people's lines after their property have been destroyed by angry Nigerians. There is tension everywhere, mtn wanted to block lines of young people because they know young people use their phones to connect and mobilize for the protest, very bad timing to do that against angry young people. They should just speak to these angry young people, trying to use force or bully them will cause more problems, almost 80% of Nigerians are young people, if they make them more angry, the old people in government and traditional stools will not have a country to rule over ooo. Let peace prevail, let bad governance end, give the youths hope.
How many of this protesters submitted their names and phone number to the police b4 embarking on this protest the Nigerian police can never stop embarrassing and shaming themselves.
It's great that the TV stations are taking sides with the law. However, the reaction of people at the MTN offices is an indication of how short circuited the tempers of people could be. When we can't guarantee peaceful protest, it's best to shelve it
Why shelve it.. ?.. is the government planning to deliberately provoke the peaceful protesters.. will u deliberately slap someone on the cheek and expect the person not to react..?.. don't always rush to blame the people..😊😊😊
Since they feel the only thing good for us is hardship. They will feel it. Is this how they block their own citizens line in South Africa? Anyways it's not their fault. Na useless leaders cause am.
Apprehend them on what ground? MTN should not have even done this at this period that tye country is overtly tenssed. There should not be any blame on Nigerians as people are being pushed to the wall.
Is it that these guys don't do anything good on their own, or must they wait for the country to catch fire before they consider doing the right thing? It's obvious that they have chosen not to do the right things
the worst part on this mtn is that i have the so called NIN and i had linked it years back but till now they still asking me to link it always what rubbish is this
As an Information Technology consultant in the United States. I have followed this, so I called Otedola Family from the time of his father in Lagos. But I find out that they only fight for what will favor their business and bring money to their pocket. Nigerians must stop singing praises of Otedola supporting or fighting for Dangote. It is because he has a share in the business. My questions to both Otedola and Dangote are as follows; 1. When the cement and sugar sales in Nigeria were sold at high prices, what did dangote do to reduce the price? 2. When he was the only one been giving tax reduction to be able to bring into Nigeria all the refinery equipment. What did he Otedola do to speak for other company that never had the same offer. Nigerian must know that this are the cabal that destroy that countries. That is why God will punish their future.
Ayo has regrettably become a Tinubu government spokesperson and apologists lately...she's always like a Tinubu supporter lately, blaming Nigerians that are suffering and in pain.... she's quickly losing supporters and fans on this show.....
She balanced the conversation. You wanted her to be anti-government and that’s not her job. I thought that if someone had made sense over the years, if they seem to share a dissenting opinion, we would look inwards and ask ourselves a few questions. However, my generation will just begin to suspect you and disagree with you.
This is a very good development for Dangote refinery. I give this one to Baba Tinubu. He has done well. He should go beyond signature and make sure nnpc delivers the crude to Dangote. God bless him
I by with the idea of a Peaceful protest without any violence, no vandalisation of government property and people's property. The security agencies have to be very Tactical and careful ND make possible best the masses maintain peaceful protest. May Almighty Allah help our Dear country .
It's deficit ayo but then the way it is in nigeria now is that if people don't show their anger actions are not taking so don't blame Nigerians for taking the actions they do. Thanks
Have you guys not seen videos of people being threatened in Lagos not to come out to protest? And where vehicles of peaceful protesters were vandalized?
Ayo, it's unfortunate you should take that stance: you clearly have no idea what these telcos are doing (or not doing). I did my linking twice IN PERSON in Nigeria and CONFIRMED same before travelling abroad. Can you imagine the hell mtn is putting me through now? Over something I took my time l, with due care and diligence, to complete before leaving the country.
Ayo, the bottom line is that a foreign company should not come here in a country with a history of a lack of data and a whole lot of factors that could be a reason for a lot of excuses, to just go ahead to block lines like that and to make matters worse, they decided to Barr people's lines at a time when the country is about to possibly burn which shows a lack of emotional intelligence and empathy on their part and is liable to any kind of reaction they get from the Nigerian people... shikena...they better behave or be ready to packup and leave totally, besides they're a scam in one way or the other and we can prove it.
Ayo, ur line want blocked that's why said that. No thing works here. If not because that damage mtn wouldn't have unlocked. The protest almost started there.
It is good to protest, because that's the only way we can express our feelings in this country, but by the look of things I don't think that this government will do anything different after the protest, they are serious and determined not to do anything for us
Crude oil refined in Nigeria must be discounted to the Nigerian Consumers as the oil comes out of their own country. Market prices for Nigerians oil should be for Nigerian refined oil
