That reminds me, I wrote a song about the show, to the tune of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel, and inspired by Weird Al's parody "Ode to a Superhero." In fact, the first four lines of my spoof are derived from those of Weird Al's. Here we go. Poor Marinette, she is pitiful Couldn't be any shyer Adrien still wouldn't notice her Even if her hair was on fire But when she isn't screwing up everything And Hawk Moth leads somebody wrong Mari's gotta make haste, oh, there's no time to waste She transforms with a “Tikki, spots on!” La-la-la, Ladybug… La-la, Ladybug, da-dum… Swing in and help, you’re the Ladybug Swing in and help tonight There’s another akuma in Paris now Guess Hawk Moth won’t give up the fight Now, Adrien’s pops pushes him around Makes him do all kinds of stuff Adrien’s famous, sure, and has money galore But to Adrien, that’s not enough All the kid wants is freedom (I feel ya, pal) And he’s crazy ‘bout Ladybug too So when evil comes ‘round, he shouts “Plagg, claws out!” And he’s off to help his bugaboo Oh, la-la-la, Cat Noir… La-la, Cat Noir, da-dum… Crack us a pun, you’re the Cat Noir Crack us a pun tonight Give ‘em the business end of your Wukong staff Use your Cataclysm when it’s right Oh, the two are about to save Paris now Ladybug uses her Lucky Charm At first it seems random, but we in the fandom Know that Ladybug’s really well-armed Once she figures out just what she’s gonna do The day’s saved, and Hawk Moth’s all perplexed And the heroes are back to their civilian lives But still ready for who-knows-what’s-next Oh, la-la-la, Ladybug… La-la, Cat Noir, da dum… Keep being great, you’re Miraculous!
