In this video, I go to the old part of Jeddah, called Al Balad, in Saudi Arabia. It's by the Red Sea. Al Balad is very special because it's a World Heritage Site. A long time ago, it was where people who came to Makkah for religious reasons by boat would stop. Al Balad is famous for its really old buildings. They're made of coral stone and have colorful wooden windows and balconies. Some of these buildings are more than 400 years old! Al Balad also has one of the oldest mosques, called Al Shafie Mosque. It's been around for about 1400 years. I had a great time exploring Al Balad, and I think you should definitely visit this unique and lively part of Jeddah.
