In true Al Copland style..go big or go home...I saw him at the key West races in 86 ..the equipment this guy brought with him to races was just totally awesome..
I believe you went in the wrong direction with this project. Ken Warby showed the way with his small one engine shovelnose hydro. Simple design simple construction very few moving parts unlike Phenom which is about as big and complicated as you could have possibly made it. Scrap that huge, ungainly, complicated cat, build a small, simple boat like Warby's and you MIGHT be successful. With Phenom the odds are you won't be.
