I imagine he no longer sells shoes, given those kinds of stores essentially phased out in the early 2000s and vanished after the online ordering era took hold. But I'd think Al still has to work. Would he be an Uber eats driver who finally gets to eat by consuming some of the food he delivers?
@@kylethompson2109 dude, it's literally a joke. Nobody is even talking about real life. You're definitely that person no one wants to be friends with because you ruin a good time. 🙄
@@noobfromhell563 no, it was an attempt to correct or "inform." Which is redundant. We grew up on these guys. I'm not some Zoomer who just stumbled across this by chance. If I know the character's REAL NAME, chances are I know his career and backstory. Of course he's a badass irl. But technically so is Ed O'Neill. The man is a practitioner of Brazilian Jujitsu. But we're being entertained in the Bundy universe. Hince Al Bundy has superior plot armor. Hince the joke.
Love the audacity of a guy to break in to a house immediately after 2 people just entered it, all the lights are on, and there is a guy sleeping on the couch.
Pretty sure that was just the only photo they can find of him. I don't think his license were revoked due to the incident itself. If I remember correctly.
@@nehemiahpouncey3607 Yeah I remember that. Tex was a heavy in a lot of shows/movies & would get beat up by the main character. In reality Tex would knock out all of them with ease.
The sad irony is this is yet another thing that "Married...With Children" predicted. That the law cares more for the law breakers than the people they hurt.
“Predicted”? Courts started rewarding criminals when they made Shane Seyer, 12, pay his babysitter, 17, child support. That was 83. Or do male victims not count to you? Because Nathanial J, Nick Olivas, and countless other boys under 15 have suffered the same protecting criminals.
To Randall Cobb? The man was one of the nastiest brawlers in the history of boxing and his ability to take punches is legendary. Hed have eaten Bundy and picked his teeth with the bones.
@@michaellarocca4879 If they had a real competitive fight then it sounds like it would come down to whether they went to the ground or stayed standing. I'm sure his standing game was far better but if you go to the ground with a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and you don't have a lot of grappling experience then you're done. It's like drowning. Everything you do to improve your state actually makes it worse until you die.
@@michaellarocca4879 Ed O'Neill used to get into a lot of fights in his early adulthood. He even once fought an undercover cop at a bar (who he became friends with after his arrest). There is a bit of Ed O'Neill in the Al Bundy character. Granted, he is no professional boxer, Ed might have been able to hold his own against a retired Randall Cobb around the time that they were filming this episode.
@@mistercool3859 its possible. But theres no way he was getting a one shot knockout. Cobb routinely admitted that he wasnt that great of a boxer and his style hinged on letting his opponent tire themselves out on his face while dishing out power punches. Oneill simply couldnt put enough weight behind a punch to do much damage.
@@michaellarocca4879 Yeah, at least they were both in character. Ed O'Neill was playing Al Bundy, the ultimate brawler, while Randall 'Tex' Cobb was playing a petty thief with a glass jaw. Cobb still had his size here, but Ed O'Neill measured up quite well next to him, so a knockout blow from Al still looked believable.
In his prime Randall Cobb wouldve easily overpowered O'Neill and more than likely shatter his jaw with one punch. I have a second degree black in Tae Kwon Do. Black belt doesnt mean much against a professional fighter.
4:12 _"But instead found one brave shoe salesman"_ ...... Ahem! Excuse me Miss, but he isn't just a brave shoe salesman, but a brave shoe salesman who score 4 toochdowns in one game!
