Love , love Al Green! Since the late 60’s he has ruled the soul charts ! When Al’s dad moved the family to Michigan, guess what Al discovered … music that moved him and wasn’t gospel, hid dad kicked him out for singing Motown music! Then Al wandered around & got a small band going & a music man heard Al’s voice and told him I can make you a star! That was what happened and the ladies went crazy & the guys tried to sing like Al💓💎💥. ‘ How can You Mend A Broken Heart’ is another fantastic song written by the BeeGees & produced in 1971 & Then in 1972 Mr. Al Green made this a very big hit. Al has been a Pastor in Memphis since leaving the big cities, I would love to hear the music coming out of his church 🤗. For a real treat find The Kennedy Center Awards that honours Al Green - it is fantastic 💎💥💙

I had this Record, 8 Track, Cassette and CD of this album! I've always loved Al Green!!! My 3 children were probably conceived to Al Greens music!!!

I saw the Reverend Al Green in '05 at the Telluride Blues & Brews. Al was handing out red carnations to all the pretty ladies in the front row. He did not disappoint.
