Thanks for including in depth reviews of scents like this one, as well as a mix of the designer and niche fragrances, lots of the time fragrances from Al Haramain etc. might get noted in a list as something good or a decent alternative to some fragrance, but you don't get the real detail on how it compares, so this is great. Keep up the grind!
Albait al Dimashqi also makes good Clones for low prices. They come in 75 ml beautiful bottles and last a long time. I am loving my clone of Valentino Uomo Intense by Albait al Dimashqi.
I really like it it’s more thick than TV. If u love Oud Wood by TF try Al haramain new offering Platinum Oud it’s really really good so clean and luxurious.
I ordered Detour Noir by Al Haramain which is a Layton clone. I actually never smelled the original but sampled DN before and it is definitely worth checking out!
Wore this for the first time yesterday… I was impressed with the performance of this fragrance. 1 hr of beast mode projection, 5-6 hours of extremely strong sillage, and 6-12+ hours of medium - strong sillage. This has one of the best sillage in my collection besides Mancera’s Red Tobacco, I was constantly get strong wafts of this fragrance, from 1 spray on each wrist. Longevity was amazing 12+ hours minimum. Do you experience similar performance with this fragrance?
Hello Robert La Tuso, this one after more than a year of maceration it last 14 hours on my shirt , project for 3 hours strongly and last on my skin 6-7 hours, so so concentrate now , 2 sprays maximum and only for winter, I finally can detect the vanilla more but still not as the OG . bow you get get it online for 35€ or 35$ for a 60 ml. Bottle A quality fragrance and a beast mode without any doubts.
@@marco4uperfumes708 Hey Marco, good to see you! It’s kinda weird that the first few sprays from the bottle were beast mode, then the more wearings, seemed not as potent. Any idea why this happens? Maybe I’m becoming desensitized to the scent?! I picked up a 200 ml tester for $50. Do tester bottles have batch codes from Al Haramain? The Amber Oud Gold edition “Extreme” is very strong. I could still smell it strongly, after spraying on an index card, 7 days later…wow!
@@RobertLaTuso in general, if a scent is beast mode ,our brain as you explain it, disconnect us from a potent scent but not automatically in order to concentrate on other smells, it's a basic survival mechanism ( reflex ). I know and love this fragrance and tester's are exactly the same juice ! By the way 50$ for a 200 ml. Bottle,even for a tester , it's a bargain 😁👍 I bought sometimes tester but never from Al Haramein, other brands in general don't provide a batch number for tester's. My advice is to ask around you after a few hours if they can still detect Amber Oud Tobacco Edition, if not there is a problem with your specific fragrance ( than it could be a defective line of production issue but I sincerely doubt it because the Q.C . and the standards of Al Haramein fragrances are very high !
The gold edition is my fav so far. I have rouge as well, but I don't smell it for very long. I heard many people say you go nose blind very quick to it. They have a brand new carbon edition that I wanna try too as I heard it was good
I just bought this one and like it a lot. It’s dominant on the star anise and clove in the opening on my skin and settles to a cosy bed of oriental spices laying on a big tobacco leaf. Quality is great. Makes me curious about other amber ouds. Have you tried the Amber Oud Exclusif Blue by any chance? I’d like to know how it compares to the Detour Noir from same brand. Isn’t it weird they clone the same frag twice?
I have begun to buy dupes of TF after I got Lost Cherry and it legit disappeared from my skin in 3hrs. I couldn’t believe it. Everyone has been saying how the scents don’t last anymore and I’ve found this true except for Black Orchid.
Just ordered 200ml of AH Tabacco edition. Got it for 100€ ($110+-). Nobody dared to order 200ml so why not. It's better than pay 55€ for 60ml bottle. 10ml decants are gonna fly with affordable price on this one.
absolutely true about Al Haramain Pricing. They sell products in Bangladesh at almost three times the price they sell in the Middle East or Western countries. Never buy their product from their outlet.

To me, this smells like; A BIG RED GUM COOKIE I Really Like This Scent. It's a Confident Spicey Sweet Scent. Don't OverSpray... you will disturb ppl. Lol
