Mr. Jarreau was a such a rare, one of a kind genuine talent. So gifted that to hear his voice was magical! I will certainly miss him.

...Just a point for anyone who stumbles on this. This was Al going EASY. Like...10% of what he could do in his prime (1980's). Just to give you a sense of how underrated he was and sadly overlooked.

His Gold Jaguar XJS 1992 Coupe was for sale in Ellensburg, WA a few years ago. I thought about it and then it was sold. I snoozed a bit too long. Al Jarreau. A most powerful and intricate voice among all pop music Dean Mountlake Terrace, WA. Also, to my wife Angie of 40 years, "we're in this love forever."

still love this musician. had the luck to hear him twice in the old 80th years live. my girl and i loved to hear it all on venyl back and forth. so even when it‘s past i regret he left us. bless his family!!
