Al Khor Park & Zoo is one of the sightseeing places of Al Khor city of Qatar, which is a gathering place for local families and tourists who want to enjoy various activities in a green and open space during the holidays. The park is around 40 km from the city center, it's a decent drive to the place.
Al Khor Park is one of the oldest and largest parks, opened in 1983 in Qatar. Al Khor Public Park has an area of about 240,000 square meters.
Al Khor Park must book tickets online to gain entry to the park, as the recreation place accepts only online tickets at the gate. Visitors reported they had been asked to scan a barcode at the entrance gate of Al Khor Park, which would direct them to the Ministry of Municipality official website.
