1952 and my new boy friend had been posted to Germany. Wrote and told me to listen to this song. Five years later we were married. We were married for nearly 40 years. 25 years on and I still miss him.

My Late doggie, ( a rescue, LabX) had unusual reactions to things from her other life with a previous owner who died. This was one of her quirks. This specific rendition of this song, Only THIS version, this live one, would set her whining/howling and not in a good way (it was on a commercial for a compliation album - she went nuts!) Other triggers were The News, Church bells, squeaky toys, and the theme tune from a particular quiz show. Anyway, I miss her. X
