Pub Landlord Al Murray does a Laugh out Loud performance in Brighton, in which he involved his audience members like the stand-up comic he is! As is said, save the best until last, and this is the last of this series!
According to the laws of aerodynamics, the bumblebee can't fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know anything about the laws of aerodynamics, so it goes ahead and flies anyway. - Igor Sikorsky
An extremely intelligent man and a comedic genius. Totally unique and his thought process when interacting with a live audience whom he knows nothing about probably exceeds the speed of light. If any nerds come back at me disputing that the speed of light cannot be surpassed, you are wrong.my friends.
He is vastly intelligent, and well traveled, with a broad mind and a decent personality, I cant believe people dont realise this is a bloody persona, idiots!
I saw Al at the Brighton Dome last night as part of his 2009 tour. It was so bloody funny, he started shouting at a banker in the audience and said 'Wheres the fucking money?!!!" and then he jumped into the audience and found the banker and ended up taking a tenner from him lol
If I wasnt so lazy I would link them to the travel documentary he did in germany. I think most will be surprised as to how quiet and intelligent the real man is.
Yep. I love how he turns the Wright brothers into the Wright brothas. What makes it work is that he never stoops so low as to explain his killer puns. It's nice to be treated like an adult. Now, where's my fruit-based drink... 🍷
This geezer is what every body should admire to be like here in England there won’t be another so we should all be grateful for our pub landlord cheers to the beers 🍺 best pub landlord ever 😊
Jack Tanner - I'm sick of the bastards sailing into Gibraltar waters. If it was up to me, I'd sink the vessel and throw the crew inflatables if they were in the water without any. They'd soon stop.
My favourite bit is when he says how physics is simply what goes up must come down, except in the old guy's case, it doesn't go up as much as it used to LOL.
I'll save you reading the comments, it's just full of people thinking they're intellectually superior for knowing that the Landlord is an act. Comments you won't find - people not understanding that this is an act.
Al Murray is actually an Oxford Graduate. The Pub Landlord is an alias/character he does comedy under. Plus of course, it all makes alot of sense, what he says. Its just a question of being in the right context, as he well knows.
Oi, Al? Never mind the Wright brothers; what about Sir George Cayley - beautiful British inventor and engineer - who had a man-carrying glider way back in 1853, eh? They couldn't build an engine light enough to power his planes back then, but even the Wrong brothas acknowledged that his research into aerodynamics played a key part in their success 50 years later. Cayley invented what eventually became known as the Caterpillar tractor, too. Oh, yes. And about 70 other useful items. Smart geezer. If you see him around, buy him a pint, will you? Cheers! 🍺
