Al is a child in his heart. All the time. It's a miracle that he has his innocence intact after all these years. He's embarrassed by the attention, the interest shown by people in him, praise and adulation. That shows his commitment to the craft, not to the fame. He wants to wriggle out of spotlight. That's Al Pacino for us. He's a gift to the mankind.
That is just that who makes him cool mate, to NOT be on this circus of money-making shallowness, He obvious dont want to, and he obvious dont need to. Good for him to choose the value of integrity and privacy...Cheers..
@@khalilprince4527 not sure. I would say Phillip Seymour Hoffman was next after Pacino but of course he’s gone. They both continued to work in movies and the theater, they both had great range, they both took the craft seriously and stretched themselves. No one else really stands out at the moment though there are good movie actors out there. Christian Bale, Joaquin Phoenix, Gary Oldman, Denzel. Probably a couple I can’t think of. Who do you think?
@@waynedurning8717 Seymour is not great...if he was he shouldn't overdosed to death I think the best right now Denzel probably or maybe tom cruise or Keanu Reeves but no one will ever be like al Pacino....because he learns from his movies and he looks like he can tell the difference between what's right and what's wrong and that's makes him real👍
@@khalilprince4527 you’re judging him on his personal life not his acting. That’s up to you if you want to do that but the fact remains he was a phenomenal actor. And you’re right about Denzel.
@@waynedurning8717 brother the point of acting is to make the world at least slightly better 😉 That's why I respect Al so much...you see most of these actors nowadays are fake...they play heroes and good characters good influencers you know...but in real life they're just crackheads and that's hypocricy... If u think you're a criminal and a gangster just be a drag dealer and end up in prison or something because acting belongs to good educated people since the beginning 👍
No wonder he did stand up early in his carrer. Anyway, there is not a single interview in which Pacino is not the same clever, adorable and self deprecating man, despite him being this hugely acclaimed, respected and beloved all time icon of ours. Just an irreplaceable hero, to say the least. God broke the mold for sure. Oh and still so handsome at 62 here.
He acknowledged the audience like no one I have ever seen. He is cute and funny. He speaks very fluently and makes fun of himself. Seen alot of his work. Many memorable moments that will not be forgotten. Thanks al and utube.
What a treat to learn that Al’s personality (humble, self-effacing, gracious, charismatic and hilarious) is as stellar as his legendary acting skills and his drop-dead gorgeous looks! Such a wonderful human being ❤
I love Al, I don't think he realizes how funny he is in interviews. And no matter what color hair he has he is still a beautiful man and a wonderful actor ❤
Wonderfully eccentric, and a very great actor, too...He's unrecognizable from Al Pacino-the-actor/character in his movies. He has great comic timing and communes with his audience, clearly something that fuels his love of the stage...
Fabulous interview! This is one of the best interviews I've seen, Al is such a delight to listen to with such great stories, very interesting. A very humble, funny and interesting person. Always liked his movies. Miss David Letterman on TV too, he was the best and helped me unwind everyday and forget my troubles, thank!
I knew his newer films and I always liked him, but I've been watching his early films recently and man do I LOVE HIM... beautiful, beautiful man and actor
This man seems so humble and just overall so likeable; also what strikes me is how kinda shy he is, so different from his characters, really not at all like them, which is a testament of how good he is
One of the all time , and I mean ALL TIME GREATS of entertainment....true genius Al Pacino , thanks for the last 40 years of movies my man!! I’m a true fan !!
He has won so many awards, I was looking it up after watching him accept the Oscar on You Tube, he also received the Kennedy Centre Honors, that's as good as it gets
Al Pacino is such an accomplished actor. Humble. No pretence. Just a regular guy who works so hard at his craft. That speech in "Scent of a Woman" is my all time favourite
Funny how he gets the natural comedic reaction from the audience, talk about the perfect actor, can be dead serious and become a legend for it and also be oddly humorous.
My favorite actor along side of Robert de Niro thank you boat for all your wonderful acting through the years I absolutely love you Al Pacino and Robert de Niro ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Don Giller thsnk you man for posting this video...I love Al Pacino but I never have the chance to see him at David Letterman just like this ...thank you What a moment Im living right now
What a great interview! ! Just loved the baseball story...That was hilarious,😜 I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this; wish he would do more. I love ya Al❤️
He's very humble down to earth and personally I've realised that he's....cute or Adorable but not in the way you think, in the way that's he's boyish-childish soft and very nice.
One of the most advance, smart productive Great actor, director, producer, etc etc God bless him to give him Heath and Many many years to live and continue doing what he does best
Oh God... Al...has something in the way he's Looking... i don't know... but it's like soul coming from him... There is One AL Pacino.... can't be found anywhere else...
Marina Udoekpo exactly that is what makes him unique and likable. one would think that he would b different by his roles would love to hang out with him!
He's giving me Barry Manilow vibes with that blonde hair. Lol. He was much more verbal back in the day. But he's still a nut and my most favorite actor. Love u Al. Hope u and ur family are safe.
Al's really funny! Loved this interview! I've been showing more of an interest in him, lately! I've seen a fair amount of his movies over the years. I'm going to add more to my list!
