@@Imagineering100 We all know though that it wouldn't be the same. It would be worn like a skin to push social justice narratives and it would be cancelled after the first series.
I used to come home from high school in the 90’s and watched this at 5pm… there was nothing wrong with this type of humour… I’m glad I was able to experience and enjoy this show.. I’m 41 now… and still get a kick out of it.. it’s timeless comedy for me
I was beyond bummed when I found out that FOX just canceled the show. When this show was on I was always hoping to live to see a season 35, I knew that wouldn't happen but they at least should of done a special goodbye episode. It's bullshit that they didn't.
Well, it was getting to the point where they were repeating themselves, anyway. Also, what helped the show in seasons 9 and 10 were the recurring characters, which weren't used enough in the final season with the new writers and producers.
wELL, IT GOES THAT WAY - FIRST YOU GO FOR THE LOOKS, THEN (IF YOU'RE LUCKY, NOT THE DOG) YOU GO FOR THE WITS. GOES THAT WAY. Sorry 'bout the caps, i played counter stike a min ago...
To be fair, they occasionally do care(like when Bud and Kelly tried to spruce up the Dodge so it would look better for Al's birthday ) And in this episode in particular they all actually feel sorry for him , even Peggy was in shock when she realised how badly the doctors messed up lol
Al tends to want Peggy the most when he's in a situation where he can't have her, or she's doing work, because watching her bent over or bouncing around is what turns him on.
There were quite a few times in the show, when they were having a barbecue for Labour Day, when they were part of the lawsuit against a hotel for secretly filming them, when Peggy lost her memory, it happened often enough. Oh, and also when Al used Kelly's experimental shampoo. But I think it was the chemicals talking.
The only time Al wants peg if she is cooking and cleaning or get he’s something out of it. Or when he sees someone young and attractive then he will want peg thinking of the other chick lol
When the music hits...You KNOW it's gonna be epic! Al Bundy - Hero, Highschool Football Legend, Inventor of the 7Day Underwear, Circumcision Survivor...and most important of all? ... ... ...Winner.
I think peg was very lucky.... Al showed tremendous restraint.... any lesser man would have busted through that door walked right up to her bend her over that counter.
Great stuff, particularly the gag about the stitch breaking. I also had this horrible operation and was walking around in a dressing gown for about five weeks scared to look down at the stitches, think about peeing or you know what else.
Peg: Oh Al, oh Al. His name was Al, too. Oh Al, oh Al, on and on. (A faint popping sound) Peg: What was that sound? Al: A stitch. Peg: Time to have that couch reupholstered.
