I've deployed to the Deid several times since the mid-2000s, and those buses have always been extremely reliable regardless of when I've gone there. I think the longest I've had to wait past the scheduled time was about 5 minutes. The LRS guys work really hard to keep those things running on time. Doesn't beat having your own vehicle if you're lucky enough to be assigned one, but it's definitely better than humping it around the various compounds.
