Triangulating!! That's the technical word for using 2 points and the sound/signal/smoke to tell you where the object is. I learned that in a MS fire tower in order to locate Forrest fires in my late teens or early 20's.

On a morning like that I usually take a $5 umbrella to stay dry so I don’t have to get soaked and interrupt the hunt to get dry clothes. I can always bury the umbrella in the leaves and come back for it later. I also keep a 55 gallon heavy trash bag to sit on if needed. Reno
