Hey guys! I’m super glad y’all enjoyed shopping at unclaimed and I never thought I’d get mentioned in anything like that but that is awesome! Hope y’all are doing great and having a fun time exploring
Hey, Peyton! I’m so glad you found out RU-vid channel! Thanks again for helping us and making our time at Unclaimed Baggage that much better. I enjoyed getting to hang and talk gear with you. I hope you’re doing well! -Matt
Cool Store! Need to make a trip there! The guy that stole some stuff, I mean, it was free stuff for the store, right? They didn't have to pay for any of it, it was left on planes and trains and buses! LOL! JK!!
HHHIIIIIEEEEEEE!!! @14:18 'Going down the steps is SSOOOHH AWESOME!!! That looked LEGITIMATELY ssoooH realistic!!😁😆😂 that was VERY well executed!! 😁THAT was SSOOOHh great!
" . . how's about cookin' somethin' up with me." Nat, being so sick, you're afraid you're going to die is bad. But, at least you weren't so sick, you were afraid you were going to live.
I live in Ocean Springs, MS- one of your stops on this 50 states trip. My husband really wants us to visit Birmingham, AL to see the Motorcycle Museum, but now I’m determined to drop him off there & head on over to the Unclaimed Baggage Center. 😊
Hahaha... Unclaimed Baggage is definitely a stop worth making! We didn't know about the motorcycle museum though! If you've never been to the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum in Maggie Valley, NC, you should add it to your list! It's amazing! Also... We love Ocean Springs!
Great video guys! I needed a little pick me up for my trip to Chicago today. I got to get into my vloging vibes. Feel better soon and we need more singing.
thanks so much man for watching & being so kind. It means a lot! Get into it because we are excited to see what you come up with! Lol 😆 haha thank you! It was a rough travel day & I’ll definitely give Matt the memo about the singing! 😂👌🏻
@@ThisBlondeLife definitely. Checking out some news hotels, a popular restaurant, a new museum to Chicago and an observation tower. Busy day. Thank you so much.
Aww thank you so much for watching & leaving a comment! You truly are the best!! :) Yea it definitely wasn't the best being sick but we tried making the best out of it! ahh you HAVE to! It's massive!!
Right!? There was soooo much stuff & surprisingly a lot of high priced items! it was crazy! Thank you so much for your well wishes & for watching & commenting! Means the world! haha we are too! Editing it now. lol
@@AdventuresofMattandNatI love Birmingham . I have lived in Atlanta( born there, hate it) in New Jersey just outside NYC and Saint Louis but I will always call B’ham home!
50 weeks to see 50 states should mean approximately 1 week per state. I realize state vary in size so this might not always work. However, this was a highspeed burn through the state to stop at a single place. I have been living in Alabama for 15 years and this was just an excuse to check another state off their list on the way to somewhere else. I'm unsubscribing from this channel after seeing this.
If we traveled full time, yes… That would be the math. But we have jobs that require us to be back home so we could only travel for 3-5 days at a time once every 2-3 weeks, so yes, many states didn’t get the attention they deserve or that we wish we could have given them. And if Natalie hadn’t woken up terribly sick the morning we filmed this, we would have had a little more time to spend in Alabama. But thanks for unsubscribing!👋🏼👍🏼
Its crazy how big that place is and shocking how many people dont claim their baggage and are seemingly okay with letting go of expensive equipment 🤷♀️
Oh my goodness, when Matt sang “Hey good lookin’” it just made my day!! That was awesome! Such fun videos!! Hoping you can get more out before I catch up…!
Well... Judson called Matt/Dude “cowboy” and then said, “yeehaw” 😂 We are loving your videos and post cards. The boys are learning so much from you guys!! We love y’all ❤️❤️❤️
Don’t y’all live in Nashville? Y’all are literally 2 hours away from Unclaimed Baggage and could’ve gone there anytime you want. Y’all drove through some of the coolest places of the entire state and didn’t show a single sight all to go to a dang store…
You are 10000% right! We definitely have to come back to Alabama & explore more! I was super sick that day & we were just trying to get me home as fast as possible since we had work the next day. But you are right we didn’t do Alabama justice, looking back we were just doing the best we could in the moment. 🤷🏼♀️ Where do you recommend we go & visit in Alabama? 💗 - Nat
@@AdventuresofMattandNat for cities Birmingham has to be the #1 stop. The Birmingham subreddit has a great list of locations to stop thru but a few are the Barber Motorsports Museum, the largest collection of motorcycles and vintage race cars in the world there is also the Bankhead and Talledega National Forests and Sipsey Wilderness are gorgeous and known as the land of 1000 waterfalls. There are also over 4,000 caves to explore in that area. Mount Cheaha is tallest mountain and one of the last few mountains in the Appalachian mountain range. I would be happy to provide more detail or better recommendations if you truly want them. Wasn’t trying to come across pissy in the comments lol just hated y’all miss so much of what this state has to offer
Hi, M & N! (Y'all are so dang awesome!😎Love what you're doing across our great nation as a couple!) I wasn't sure where/which to post or ask this ? so I just picked video after my fabulous Magnolia good ol' home state of MS! I'm totally aware we have some good coastal convertible cruisin'! We also have some awesome Bay St Lou, B'lx, on to our Ocean Springs...We seriously have THE BEST EATS along the Coastal MS! However, up in the HEART of our MS DELTA! I'll TOTALLY claim that, since that's where I currently hang my tiara! I ain't jokn'. Try Nola in Indianola, MS! Chris Grant is the famous owner & Chief there! Anyway...my ?... Of the places y'all have visited in our awesome US of A, which area would you recommend for a convertible road trip?
Hey Val! Thanks so much for all of the great recommendations! We LOVED our time in Costal Mississippi! We definitely hope to check out more of the state too! Oh man… there are so many great places for a top down road trip! The Pacific Coast Highway between Big Sur all the way up through the Redwoods is absolutely beautiful! Also, the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire (especially in the fall) is beautiful. The drive to Key West, FL is also amazing! Ugghh… So many! The Going to the Sun Road through Glacier National Park (in the summer). Northern Arizona/Southern Utah (Page, AZ; Monument Valley, UT). Hopefully these were helpful! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!🥰
If you ever come back through you must stop at Peach Park in Clanton. Best of three worlds if you come around July, peach ice cream, homegrown fruits and vegetables from local farmers, and a barbecue restaurant with some amazing sides.
I didn't get to see much of Mobile AL either. I took a multitude of Greyhound Buses from NC to AL, so I could see my husband graduate Warrant officer school in Fort Rucker AL. Unannounced to me, the bus from Mobile to Fort Rucker was cancelled. It was super early in the morning, the Rental Car place was closed, and I still had 3hrs of driving to go. After panicking for at least an hour, the manager of that Greyhound in Mobile, paid for a 3hour Cab ride to take me to Fort Rucker. Needless to say I cried and gave him a huge hug. I made it, just barely, to his first appearance, as he marched right towards me. I will be forever grateful to that man! As for your trip, absolutely loved Matt's singing, and that it used to be your ringtone for him, totes adorbs. The unclaimed baggage place makes me sad. Especially seeing the wedding dresses...But them deals though. I love when Nat says, "Ya know what I mean Ladies" in that voice, hilarious 😆 And to end it out with Matt telling the truck to shut it, and truck proceeds to make the largest fart sound ☠️
I know this is an old video, but given Nat’s love for all things Dolly, it’s important to note that the bridge shown near Mobile is local know as the Dolly Parton Bridge because of the distinctive comparative features that it shares with the icon herself.
Why such a rush? Do you have other jobs? You seem to rush through most of your visits/States? Love the content, love seeming your adventures. Think you two are great! Slow down!
We do have jobs! 😭😂 We are part time travelers! I wish we didn’t have to rush.... Praying that one day we can we full time travelers! 🙏🏼 It would be sooooo nice to take our time. 😂 It’d be a dream come true, but in the meantime we’ll see and do as much as we can in the amount of time that we have. We also want to inspire others to see more of our country even if people do have jobs. It’s surprising what you can see and do in a couple of days. Lol 💗 Thank you so much for watching & being so awesome! We appreciate you! 😊🥰 -Nat

Aww man, that’s so hard to choose because it’s like comparing apples to organes BUT in the US Matts favorite is Seattle & Natalie’s is La Vegas but there are so many other ones we can’t wait to go back to. You?! Do you have a favorite city in the US?!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat well I'm not as adventurous as you but I like Reno Nevada. It's a beautiful and fun place . Also Canada has a lot to offer. :) thanks ! For the reply. Much love and be safe. Rite now I'm in New Orleans of course. Lol
It really was!! Like we said... a thrift store on steroids! It was overwhelming!! Lol... especially with the small amount of time that we had!! We want to go back though!
