I was first afraid it would be quicker and more aggressive than it turned out to be. My neighbor 1/4 mile to the south of me said it was in his yard the day before, so it had traveled a long way and was tired. I gave her a ride in the bucket in the direction she was originally going, so maybe all will be well for it. Thank you for watching and for sharing your snapping turtle experience.
They are nasty! Thank you for your nice comment. :) My daughter is "special". I left pretty quick after turning it loose, because I didn't want it following me home. (it had begun to get a little too close to me...)
This is a nice looking turtle.... :) Tried to protect itself... it cannot hide under its own shell, because of a size. So, this is their best defense....
Oh look a snapper theta keep pokin it with a stick and piss it off. Or you could just relocate it and leave it the hell alone. I hope one takes off your toes.
