Sorry for getting this put out so late. I had a full Labor Day vacation which included going to this game. I try to get these done before the start of the week since I get pretty busy once the week starts, but in this case I had no option but to wait until I got home and the just work on it a I could find bits of time. I just noticed the first drive foreshadowed the whole season converting fourth downs nice rushes by Damien Harris and Bo Scarborough and overthrew passes by Jalen Hurts and a missed field goal

A&m was the worst out the bunch... 1 thing all these teams had in common; they all were at home coming off of a bye week to prepare for bama. FSU was a neutral site game and it was the first week of the season. No one in there right mind would say any of those teams we just named are better than that fsu team If they were healthy with their confidence intact.

I’m not so sure how good a coach Jimbo is. No offense but with all the talent he should have had in Tallahassee he should have more than 1 natty. They looked bad this game. I love how everyone says Bama plays weak non conference games. Hell we normally start out with the opening game of the yr. Not this yr cuz Lamar went pro.

Sword Smith I totally disagree. FSU went 10-3 his 1st year starting. Since u stated that u dont know all our options its probably safe to assume u haven't watch enough of Francios' games to conclude that we cant win a Championship him. We absolutely can.

Urban Decay it was a weird situation with the playoff committee this year. Even though OSU lost to Iowa and Oklahoma they won the B10 and Bama lost to Auburn and didn’t make the conference championship game
Ohio State didn't make it to the conference championship game in 2016 but made the playoffs, what happened this year for Bama happened for Ohio State the year before. The only difference is Alabama beat Clemson 24-6 and won the National Championship and when Ohio State made it without winning their conference they got beat down by Clemson 31-0.

Both teams played equally well. FSU more than likely should of went into half 14-10 which could have changed the game. FSU looked a lot more dominant. What won this game was special teams.
FSU looked better in the 1st quarter and most of the 2nd. They did not look more dominant in the 2nd half. The FSU offense collapsed even more spectacularly than Bama's offense in the 3rd and 4th. They had a legit defense though. I think both teams had bad 0-line and QB play for most of the game. It did come down to the defense and ST. Bama's punter really put it to them.
Watching this offense work is torturous Tua running the show was a lot better to watch Alabama never had a throwing QB like Tua in their History Watching Jalen tuck it and run instead going through his progression is nauseating
Why is it that Bama doesn't have any good kickers? Shaky legs ppapanastys almost cost the championship had it not been for Tua. Of course he's probably playing for Georgia.

Sean McClelland think it wasn’t cause he didn’t actually tackle him like the FSU player did. But yes the pass interference no call was bad. Our guy didn’t even look back for the ball. But could have been called on FSU earlier on the pass to our guy in the left back part of the end zone. He got there a fraction early.
He looked pretty good coming off the bench and smacking UGA around in the SEC championship game. It's almost like players can improve over time. What a concept.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this game. I made arrangements to watch this game on ABC in Phoenix AZ on my tv by myself. I had a 6-pack of Smirnoff Ice and ready. Unfortunately the local ABC affiliate decided to broadcast it in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. I'm American. We speak English in this country. I have no use for you Spanish speaking people. Why don't you go back to your native country and leave the Americans alone!
