@@Kneel30 = Or the occasional 10 seconds he gives to Utah. The team who wanted not to join the Big XII almost as much as fsu and Clemson wanted out of the ACC.
@@Kneel30idk he seems to talk a lot about plenty of teams in that conference from an outside perspective. Just so happens the best ones left for the SEC lol
@@KFBALL247they're going to add at least 2 more teams. I betting on UNLV being one of them Tulane and Memphis make sense as well especially Memphis for both football and basketball
I am a boise state fan, I will be the first to say that our weak point is our defense. Oregon has played two weak defenses(especially when compared to B10 competition), and yet their offense currently ranks as 83rd in the country. After two easy games, they should have at least a top 15 offense. If it were an easy fix it would have been fixed.
They are getting two starting offensive lineman back from summer injury in the coming weeks. Really the offensive line has been their only issue, it just happens to be the most important position group on any team so it has killed them completely.
@@suites.74 no doubt its the oline, but I wouldn't chalk it up to just two injuries. Boise state also has two starting o lineman out(our best 2), but good coaches maintain skill at depth. I think the coaching should be in question at oregon, as far as the offense goes.
I wouldn't say Idaho had a weak defense, but Oregon's offense has definitely struggled due to their oline. If they aren't getting either of their starters back this week, they could be in trouble against Oregon State. Oregon State's defense is likely better than either team they faced so far. Agreed with Joel here, not really sure why the spread is so high. I'd expect this to be a close game, especially since it's an away rivalry game.
@@Topapex1019when Gabriel had time to throw hit lit Boise State up. 18/21 and 2 of the misses were wide open TDs. Boise couldn’t cover Oregon’s WR’s, but if Gabriel doesn’t have time to throw it doesn’t matter. So it’s most definitely the O Line. But I agree, the O line coach should definitely be on the hot seat, seems like they regressed. Even the returners from last year that were thought to be elite. The left tackle is the only guy that’s playing good and he’s still making mental mistakes and jumping early on occasion.
I’ll add parenthetically, expectations for Colorado are STILL a little too high. People who think they should be way better than this are forgetting just how bad a program they were. The progress has been pretty good so far, all things considered.
Last year was progress... until about week 4, then progress went on vacation for the year. It hasn't returned (I'm a Buffs fan BTW). These first 2 games have been worse than last year, not better. CSU is a major rivalry, and as long as I've lived, CSU has always played CU tougher than they should on paper. I wouldn't be surprised at all if CU loses. If that happens, you can kiss off any chance of improving on last year's record.
The media, to include Joel, has done the unthinkable. They’ve made a majority of the CFB fanbase despise CU. It’s quite remarkable considering this was a 4-8 team. Even during Saban’s time not even his teams were loathed this much. The sooner CU isn’t bowl eligible, the sooner we can move on from them.
Difference is prime isn't recruiting They basically gutted the 2023 roster and brought in all transfers. Half the reason programs stay good is they build a talent pipeline of kids in their system. When it's their turn to play they know what to do
Much of the CFB fanbase doesn't despise CU. They despise CU's "coach" with his incessant PR, his questionable ability to coach, and his "team" building methods. But the media loves the CU circus because it generates clicks, just like a certain politician. All that said, I can't blame CU's (real) fans for enjoying the ride.
Can we get more non conference heavy weight matchups!? Texas playing Bama the past few years, now Michigan and next year Ohio State, are the matchups we need! It’s what makes this game watchable and enjoyable. Don’t pay for a lesser opponents to play at home and fictionalize a team’s spot in the rankings, (ND knows). Let’s see more heavyweights battling for the top spots. College football is awesome and let’s keep it that way.
There’s literally no benefit to play top teams in the preseason. Way too many tough games in conference play in the B1G and SEC. Why risk losing before conference play? Especially when you have teams that have a bunch of new guys out of portal and are still gelling together. I love the games too but I wouldn’t schedule them, very little upside. Especially when there’s a chance you could have a 17 game season if you made playoffs.
@@KFBALL247 The games were scheduled before Sark got to Texas, but he has expressed he likes having a big game for the team to look forward to in preparing for the season and he also thinks it is good for the sport. I bet it has helped with recruiting as well.
Bama will get their athletes in space. Heavy run attack, wheel routes, long ball. Expect some Law, Bernard jet sweeps. BTW, Bama D has only given up 1 TD. RTR!
Sorry JK. Ain’t gonna happen. CU is not going to adjust and they’re gonna get beat outright up there at CSU. While I love what Prime did at Jackson State, his in over his head at a Power5 FBS school. The more stubborn he is thinking he can win with two five stars, playing one of them for 150 plays and the other one getting ransacked, an unimaginative offense and a crippled defense, the more they will get smashed.
@@level11biggerbadderbosses31 convincingly? Dude, CSU constantly was shooting themselves in the foot throughout that game🤣 the only thing CU did convincingly was leave no doubt that they will finish the season with at minimum 6 losses
@@datwolverine I heard what he said and I'm happy he is *almost* to the same point as I am. However, he still spent a significant portion of the show talking about their game.
Have the same energy for Kansas and Arizona y’all had for Colorado UNLV gave Kansas there second L Arizona was ranked and got beat by the same margin as Colorado in a Conference game. Colorado lost to Nebraska in a non conference game they still have a chance to win the Conference they are 1-1 please have the same Energy.!!
I think they will be a much more focused secondary this week and will not have those same mental lapses. However, I do think they still get out matched by the size and talent of the AZ receiver, I just don't think it will be to the point where Kstate loses because of it. But I think it will make the game close.
Arizona being ranked 20th and 2-0 is deceiving. New Mexico scored 39 points, and Arizona beat an FCS NAU 22-10. KSU wins easily. Arizona finishes the season 5-7.
@anthonygonzalezzzzz ASU looks pretty good, Arizona has a really good QB and a very good WR. That's it. Put pressure on the QB, make him scramble or throw on the run and double team T-Mac, and Arizona falls apart.
Joel here’s the biggest question for Bama, can Milroe play more like a qb than dynamic athlete, he’s still looking for the home run too much, good qb’s give you 6 minute drives when your defense needs a break.
Bama wins by 7 to 10...Arizona and Kansas State are very mediocre teams...certainly not a threat to the top teir teams...agree Boston College should keep it close...LSU is a good team yes but Brian Kelly is their achilles heel...this could be the beginning of his spiral downward...Oregon wins big on the road...covers the spread...by the way Joel...isn't Dan Lanning your choice as the top coach in College Football...then their offensive line should be much better this week and will be...agree on the Washington rivalry...you nailed it on the pressure for Colorado...this game for me is too close to call...
@MikeB-wx9mt was a fun game. TxSt had the edge but let it slip away. Love well matched teams getting after it, and these two were neck and neck. Good call.
I’ve been rooting for Oregon but they’ve been playing absolutely terrible for what their potential is. I hope they do show who they are and play to the level that they are capable of
Colorado can bounce back against any non-serious football program like... the Buffs. Up next are the non-serious Colorado State Rams, who are ranked around 107th and just lost 52-0 to Texas. If Deion's mail-order-brides can't beat these sad sacks... I’ll be interested in seeing how Tackett Curtis plays. He came to USC with a ton of hype but played very poorly. But that could be because of Grinch’s scheme. Ironically, Grinch is back in Wisconsin 😊😊😊
@ 10:18 ~ I personally cannot tell you who I believe the best player in this game to be. However, one thing I can assure you of, is that the Wildcats will win it. 😁
Pride comes before the fall. Deion knows this too and he will grow from this experience. He must become greater, and I must become lesser. Jesus is Lord and he loves you wherever you are and whether or not you want to be loved by him. God bless you all.
I'm sure it hurt you to talk about Alabama. You'll get an opportunity to see first hand why they are the number 4 team instead of your hate-bait ranking of 8. XD
I think we are writing off Oregon’s defense. If the offense hadn’t put them in the worst situations with incredibly short feilds, the narrative would be different.
Oregon is more talented than Oregon State at every position, and I'm sure is motivated after 2 poor performances already, so why should this game be in doubt?....personnel isn't close
@davidcole2337 Power 5 is a marketing buzzword, not a skill assessment. Look at Wisconsin’s personnel. Compare them, unit by unit, with Alabama, unit by unit. Add to that the fact that Alabama is not just playing for a W, they are playing to move up in the rankings. And the way to do that is to run the score up as fast and as far as possible. Then there’s the rebound effect of coming off of an ugly game. 15.5 may seem like a lot at first glance, but this matchup looks tailor made to beat the spread.
