In this video you're gonna hear a complete Alad V' story. I hope you enjoy it even though some of it might be fictional. But still, I tried my best to make it as logic as possible. Twitter: / ilyk11 #TennoCreate
@@Kamkean I swear man Warframe players are just thick headed. Ignore obvious and blatant lore for their head cannon. "The Sacrifice quest retconned warframes" HOW DID IT? WARFRAMES WERE ALWAYS PEOPLE!!
"The Tenno chose not the loot" Alad was like an old pal of ours at that point compared to the then newly repurposed and still largely unknown Nef Anyo, and he did offer sweet loot: the Karak Wraith. To many old veterans, the Karak was their second or third primary to ever build so it held some sentimental value over the Dera Vandal
1:26 It's canon that Parvos Granum and the founding Corpus were lower class Orokin farmers and laborers before Granum founded an enclave city that became the Corpus faction, btw
I searched for "I am pleased with your performance", as I loved the voice acting in Warframe. And I stumble onto this masterpiece. You sir, have done outstanding work. I would love to see more of this content in the future.
sometimes i wish DE would add a "secret room" to a "rare jupiter tile" where you can actually go through vents to physically meet Alad V perhaps at a console with other corpus. And make it a "lore thing" as no enemies will come in after you and you can't kill anyone in that room. And your able to handshake with Alad V. Don't know if there's a way to have a subtle way of communicating to Alad V about how we don't like how he dissected Valkyr, but i suppose that would be up to DE. Also makes me wonder if the Tenno had decided to see Alad V as a "father figure."
I honestly think it fits in alads character with the new war. Hes a survivor and is willing to do everything to do so. the fleet we saw wasn't alad's it was the corpus fleet as a whole and alad wanted to use his directorial override to save his own ass knowing full well what the ropa alone did to his forces.
I made a post in the warframe subreddit about the problems I see with the new player experience, and ways I can see to remove or alleviate the issues. One problem I found is that most quests before Natah are just side content. It takes about halfway through the starchart to get to the first big and important story quest. Another issue is that there is no justification to do any assassination missions outside of transmissions provided in that mission. Both problems could be solved by adding some additional lotus/boss transmissions into starchart missions the first time they are cleared. Instead of "there is a large platoon of grineer marines stationed here. Leave no one standing", say that sargas ruk or lech kril will be severely impacted by the loss of those troops.
@@HarrowedDweeb Warframe's gameplay is solid enough to hold players, but eventually players will ask what the point of it is. While it's an incredibly flawed game, Skyrim gives you an action filled intro, then sets you loose in the world. It then gives you the overarching threat of "someone should really do something about those dragons". Most good games will do something similar. Warframe does this in a few quests like Natah setting up what the sentients are, second dream setting up that they hate us and stalker is working with them. The war within sets up the void powers, kuva, continuity and grineer queens. Chains of Harrow through to prelude to war sets up Ballas and a sentient invasion, and new war pays it all off as well as giving us narmer, archons, and pazuul. What all of those quests have in common is that they are very far into the game and someone playing for the first time will likely not play that far.
@@thatoneguywhoknittedthejim2912 and that’s a problem why? People bounce off of things. I’d give a finger to let my friend experience the joy of the souls series. Hes too easily upset, won’t do it. Doesn’t mean dark souls is bad. Doesnt mean It’s hostile to new players. It’s a kind of game that aims to confuse you. Warframe convinced me it was p2w when I started. I think the only problem with the new player experience is that you don’t actually know what does what and figuring it out is a waste of time compared to just looking stuff up. Warframe is a game that you can make incredible amounts of progress in in a singular day, if you don’t know the point of building your account there’s no reason to play. It’s a video game bro. Skyrim is good for new players because it never, never not even once, asks you to properly engage with its systems
It’s so funny that we can blame a large majority of all major events in the games lore on like 5 characters Anything happen that involved corpus vs grineer? Blame alad or vay hek. Anything orokin related? Probably Ballas who caused it to go wrong. Anything void related? You best bet it’s either gonna be albrecht or wally himself.
I think the implication of Alad's supposed status as Orokin is because he underwent continuity (permanent tranferrance as described in the war within by Teshin) and is now in the guise of a mortal man in the Corpus. I also think its worth noting that the Corpus were a part of the Orokin empire in the sense that they were contracted and worked with them, often it seems under duress, but that does not mean they themselves are or are considered Orokin. Orokin are a class, the most upper class in the human sphere of influence, and the Corpus sit outside of that class.
I think the order of events are wrong. I think it was Natah disguised as Regus he made the deal with. And that this deal happened during or after the Sacrifice quest. So long after he was cured. As he said in his fragments, he thought the Sentient technology Regus had could win him back a place on the board. And yeah I also wasn't happy with him being a coward against during the New War. But you can also get why. They were losing the battle. And Alad knows how powerful the Sentients were so he probably knew that submission was the only way of survival. And I don't know to what point he was truly freed of his deal as most we did was to kill the enforcer of his deal. And maybe he has his own agenda within Narmer as we can see experimentation happening at the gas city during the Nira archon hunt. And yes a real shame that we didn't get more Ropalolysts and other larger Sentients during the New War.
I don't think we were ever supposed to get more ropalolysts. The fight dialogue clearly says the ropalolyst is too ancient and outdated given the weakness to the void, and that its sacrifice in the fight would allow the sentiments to make better amalgams.
Your humor, and the well written and flowing explanation of the story pair amazingly with your accent! It feels like listening to a bedtime story from a veteran soldier. Love the video dude!
here's the part of the Gradivus Dilemma DE won't tell you: Warbros. the Warbros clan with all their might completely crushed all Corpus forces, earning favor with Sargus Ruk
I played Warframe on and off for the best part of the decade and I knew next to nothing of what you put in your video. DE cornered themselves multiple times when writing Warframe story and lore, and this is one of the best examples of it. This video was a brilliant lore dump, thank you so much for all of it
Hi ilyk, im one of the subscribers from your ru channel, im enjoy to new en channel and i hope you will continue make a good video about grindframe, i like it. Ru community supports you, comrad 🙃
I haven't played since about the release of the open world where everyone lifts together so for me he he will always be Salad Five, the toilet seat collar man.
doesn't alad v call us betrayers the entire time we do anything with him? on top of that most of the experiences we have with him is him trying to save his own ass. there is no complete redemtion of that character. we keep him around because is funny villain that shoots himself in the foot, and he is a letter away from being called salad v. also like someone has said. i do believe a few events order was fumbled how they actual were to happen. since anything to do with sentients happen much much later after alad v infection and cure. because how could the ropaloyst enforce the deal with alad v if he was in the midst of his infection arc? sounds like llyk was trying too hard to make alad v a redeption character that the de failed at making. alad v is not and will not be a redeption character.
A quick note, an orokin elite is what you are referring to at the start, but the term "orokin" is simply a term for human as a whole. (At least from what ive heard). So when Hunhow calls alad an orokin, he simply is calling him human to differ himself and Natah (sentients) from the humans. Beyond that, amazing video!
@@plaguedoctor5145 I'm a lore nerd, I love warframe. But so many people in the community literally act like the game contradicts itself which it really doesn't. The people who say that orokin is a general term for humanity also probably thought The Sacrifice quest retconned how warframes were made, even though they were always humans turned with a modified infestation strain but they didnt clearly state that before. This goes for anyone here not you now, but find me ONE piece of lore that says orokin is a blanket term and not reserved for the ruling class, or that corpus are orokin. I will wait lmao
@@NotMyRealName69 upon reading the wiki, it refers to the society as Orokin not only the higher class. It even goes out of it's way to distinguish "high-ranking orokin" then describing what I called the orokin elites. Another not is it refers to "orokin civilisation" just as we would refer to "human civilisation" not "upperclass" or "noble" etc. Even on the forums, there was people arguing either way
@@plaguedoctor5145 in universe lore clearly makes a difference between orokin and their slaves. It's called the orokin empire because they were the rulers. Orokin was a (ruling)caste of humans not the name for humans. Give me one link to something that says otherwise from the game or official source not people arguing for it on a wiki forum.
true so true I legit sat in my ship one day putting it together the part when we get to lotus becoming natah the flow gets wacky as hell just recently with the void lore is it seeming to flow To me the new war being so long would of been better as three-story quest and it will had felt like it matter more. It wasn't hard at all except parts where they nerfed you be forcing other characters u had to play defeating whole necro grind gatekeeping it for others
