Alamo March - arr. James Swearingen
When it came to writing marches that sounded great with bands at all grade levels, Karl King had no peer. Dedicated to the heroes of The Alamo, this very playable march has that certain quality which made it one of King's favorites at the easy grade level. With a full concert band instrumentation, along with subtle changes in the instrumental scoring and percussion lines, James Swearingen's arrangement enhances its charm even further. A guaranteed winner!

I played this in High school, both bass drum and snare drum Jr and Sr years respectively. Great memories! Looking forward to marching band in college. Go Lancers! Go Cougs!

@@reaganstegemoller For me it wasn't really all that hard. Now, I'm not the most physically fit, but I still enjoyed it. I really liked setting drill for the show. The full run through a and holding my instrument were hard at the start of the season but got easier with time. Honestly, the parades were harder than marching the show. One thing that I think is important is that you should probably run through your sets a couple of hours before you perform, that way you know where you are going confidently. All in all, marching band is pretty fun.
