I enjoyed seeing the County Arcade, and love Alan Bennett, but was wondering why he didn't show Thornton's arcade too with the mechanical clock that I loved to go and see with my Mum as a child on our visits to Leeds. I've been in Australia since March, '67. Three visits back, '87 after 20yrs, then '91 and last visit in '98. In '87 I could see where all the new things added since I left, had already had a chance to age.
