I've recently been drawn to and fascinated by Alan Cumming after seeing his performance as Loki in Son of The Mask. I later discovered that he starred in a lot of films that were a huge part of my childhood and it's been interesting. His story hits home in a lot of ways for me, although it was the reverse. My Mom was the abusive one. I'm so proud of Alan for his bravery and self discovery through all of those painful early experiences. Now he gets to enjoy the rest of his life with his true love and his chosen family. Beautiful story. ❤

The abuse that alan endured in his childhood wasn't his fault the blame totally lies with his rotten father I'm glad that he was able to confront him about it a few years before he died

I finally found a way to let go of the abusive adults in my family when I realized that was probably passed down for hundreds of years.
