Being nice has has no value, anyone can create it out of nowhere. Money, physical appearance, there's no deception involving those things. People aren't stupid and can understand what you want from 20 miles way. In a sense being bad is honest, direct and pure.
@@kenadams3306 Value is subjective so you saying it has no value most likely would be talking about a materialistic person. If Alan was generally nice, that would have lots of value towards his partner but sadly he isn't that type of guy.

@@sl2945 During the divorce Alan's attorney essentially had him covered so that he and Judith would split without him being broke but then Charlie seduced, banged and dumped her which made her vengeful against Alan and so she sabotaged him to the extent that he had to pay enormous alimony and child support.
Charlie really knew how to pick up women and he was really funny. It's no doubt he was a little like that in real life. He played his character really well as if he was just being himself. 😂😂
I've noticed that Chuck Lorre shows have characters that are always jealous of each others success. Alan of Charlie,Bonnie Plunkett of Christy, Christy Plunkett of her daughter Violet when She started living by herself.

😂 Alan’s expression at 0:41 is priceless. Charlie’s dedication to his womanizing is just inspirational 😂 I kind of get Alan’s frustration but you have to admit that we all envy Charlie’s way of life…. Great paying job, abundant Sex with multiple top a lister women, money, great place to stay… he will have a kid later on so you can’t say that he had no kids … I wonder what the show would have been like if he had stayed … how would they have continued ? Him marrying Mia or Chelsea? Him cheating on his wife ? Or him and Chelsea “ revisiting” the ménage a trois policy that they had. By the way, kudos to Chelsea for being confident enough to bring another woman into their bedroom. And oddly enough it did not turn into her being secretly a lesbian but just her making her significant other happy. The writers were great at that point … not so much later on. So many good sources of entertainment that were not explored
I agree Val. This show could have kept going and still been amazing. Its really too bad charlie sheen and chuck lorre couldnt get along. Big Bang was probably more successful for Lorre but i couldnt get into it at all
I always loved this television series! It shows in some way that never the evil or the generous suffers in life, but the stupid and the clumsy, just like Alan.
Alan was always trying to project that white knight image, so he could be “respected” and adored by women. And yet, his little charade never worked, cause nobody ever took him seriously (specially women) and therefore, he was always jaded, resentful of Charlie, who in the other hand, had always a better life without even trying xD
Alan is a truely horrible brother: Instead of being thankful for his brothers success which allows him and his son to live in a nice beach house rent free he only complains and is jealous.
It s ironic how they tried to portray Charlie as the antagonist when in reality alan was always the real worthless POS. used to like the show but once Charlie left it became unwatchable, not even so much because of the "Dude Where is my car?" guy, but rather because of alan's character which had zero redeeming qualities...
I never understood why Alan was so jealous of how much money Charlie made. If Charlie didn't rake in the dough to keep paying the mortgage on his Malibu beach house, who would Alan have to sponge off of?
Why they don't want Spencer going to Paris with Trina. When she was the one. That asked him to go with her. Yes they are jealous of there relationship. Because they know how much. Spencer really loves Trina. That he would do anything for her. Stop asking them for there approval Trina.
